Novel & Cerita The Council Will Decide Your Fate

she yelled. Breed shook his head. “One damn fire at a time,” he muttered as he went in. Cowboy, Rain and Babe looked up at him. Babe rushed over to him and opened her mouth to speak. Breed raised his hand to stop her from speaking. “His fate isn’t up to you, Babe. It isn’t up to me either.” She paused and searched his face. “Then who decides this?” He shrugged. “The Breeds will. He will stand at a tribunal and they will sentence him.”

“The council will never uphold this.” “That is their decision.” Victoria turned to Kade. “You have temporary custody of the asylum wolves but this will go to a full council vote. Probably in three months.” “What are our chances?” Kade asked. “Honestly? Forty percent.” Victoria packed her files. “The council is traditional. They don’t like setting precedents that weaken Alpha authority.” “But do you think we are right?” “I know you are right, but that doesn’t mean you will win.” She headed for the door. “Prepare for a fight. The council won’t make this easy.”

I asked the question that was possibly the most important one for me to have answered, if I was going to make a decision on how I would proceed in the future. “Perhaps less than you are thinking for the time being. You would as I believe it states in the book, be given a seat on the council. The council is comprised of four members, one from each family, they control our world. The council are responsible for law making, they have veto power over most important matters in our world, They typically meet once a week, unless something urgent comes up, to discuss proposed changes to the law and any other matters that are brought before the council. It has however been quite a while since a law h

The room became silent No one dared to say a word ,it felt as if they were holding there breath in anticipation of what's going to happen next . " Tell me who could that be " " I don't think you need to know who that person is your majesty all we need to do is to carry out our investigation , And if you are found guilty ,We leave it to the council to decide your fate " " I think you are forgetting something here Sir Nicholas No one I repeat No one can decides my fate not even Zeus himself " " I...I...mean ..your...." " I ..will leave you all to your investigation ,I have something important to attend to "

he asked, his tone low enough that only I could hear. I glanced at him. “I already have,” I replied. His lips curved slightly. “We will see,” he said. Sigil’s absence was noticeable, but the test did not wait for anyone. A member of the council stepped forward, his voice carrying across the field. “The final round will be a test of wit and the decision of the people,” he announced. A murmur spread. I felt my fingers curl slightly at my sides. This was different. This was not about strength. Not about skill alone.

“What’s your plan with Lady Blaire?” “Burning at the stake is our way.” I grimace at the thought. I never want to see people burn alive ever again. It was by far the most awful thing we’ve had to do. “Maybe show a little kindness? Make it quick.” “It’s not up to me. The council will decide her fate, but I’ll give them my opinion. The ultimate decision will be Willow’s though – she’s our high priestess now.” I don’t want to think what that means for her. What it means for us. “Do you know why she did it yet?”

Alpha Christian let out a resigned sigh. "I wish it were within my power to decide, your Majesty, but for such a decision to be made, it would need to be brought before the council, and ultimately, Lord Albert would have the final say. Once his decision is made to get involved, you can take over from there and decide their fate," Christian explained, expressing his willingness to support my father's request. I felt a glimmer of hope, but the realisation that the council meeting was scheduled for three weeks later dampened my spirits. A lot could transpire in the interim.

"I agree with Beta Colin that we do not need to rush our decision. I will need tonight to consider her fate before giving a verdict. Tomorrow morning, I will announce my decision to the Council." The Elder's eyes narrowed with warning as he addressed Noah. "Fine, then. But if you fail to come up with a final verdict by tomorrow morning, we will have no choice but to execute her." The words hung in the air like a sword, ready to give a striking blow. The Elder returned to his seat, and Beta Colin took him too. I was grateful for his intervention, but at the same time, I was scared. It seemed as though half the people in the room agreed with what the Elder had said.

I questioned. "Your parents seem rich,"he mumbled. "He is the prime minister, won't it work in your favor if the prime minister is tried for treason," I said. "Well that's a good point, but it's not just for me to decide Kiara," he says. "Why don't you eat your food, take your bath and Beatrice will find you and show you to your room," he suggested. "I will meet with the council and they will decide whether you join or not," he tells me. "By tomorrow you will get an answer," he continued.

“If anyone can fight through this, it’s her.” I swallowed, nodding, but it didn’t sit right. Because what if she couldn’t? I clenched my fists. “I have to be at the council,” I muttered. Every word tasted like ash. “They’re deciding Julian’s fate today.” Elijah let out this sharp, humorless bark of a laugh. “His fate?” He stepped in closer, his presence like a damn storm rolling in. “Luca, are you even listening to yourself? What if he already decided hers?”
