The Alpha King lunged at them, but as he did, his movements slowed, his strength ebbing away. He stumbled, confusion and rage contorting his features. Daniel, now weakened but alive, managed to stand. "It worked," he whispered, a faint smile on his lips.

"The Alpha King is said to have been cursed by a witch many years ago through his father. According to what we heard, he has three years left to live and is bound to die by then and with no heir to succeed him due to the curse."
