The Eye Test Novels & Stories

Kyle asked. “I feel the same; my eyes are getting worse, and so is the headache. Are you sure I don’t need to go for an eye test?” He asked, and I almost applauded him. He is such a great actor. Kyle stood up, checking his eyes with a light, and Dexter kept blinking repeatedly.

the doctor asked carefully. "No, I don’t." His voice was firm. "Itchiness?" "Not either, Doctor." "That’s good. I’m going to count from five to one, and you’re going to open your eyes very slowly so we can test if your eyesight works..." He nodded in response. There was a moment of silence before the doctor started to count. "Five... four... three... two..." He took a deep breath and waited patiently. "One..." Ethan clenched his jaw and took his time.

he said. She winced as he flushed her eyes. “ Open up and tell me if you can see.” She blinked rapidly, slowly opening her eyelids, then another sob escaped her lips.“ I can't…it's all blurry.” I cursed underneath my breath. I should have taken the bottle from her when I had the chance. The eye doctor turned to face me.“ I have to conduct tests and see if her cornea has been damaged.” I nodded and they left for the test. I stayed the whole time and at some point I pulled out a cigarette and lit it up. Cigarettes had become my crutch over the years.

I love her so much. The hours pass. Eric comes back in. “Okay, Clover. Let’s see what you can do.” He helps me stand. “We’re keeping the glasses off,” he explains. “We’re going to test you on letters, numbers, big to small, colors, shapes hell all of it as we did before.” “Deal.” We move into the testing room. “First,” he says, “lighting.” He switches from dark to bright, testing sensitivity. Of course, it’s intense at first, but I handle it and we move on.

I realized there was absolutely no way to truly help each other; we were supposed to rely only on our own smarts to escape. “This test seems quite difficult,” I admitted, seeing that it would need much more effort than usual. “That is because every single task presented during the Wolf’s Eye is, in fact, the Trial itself,” Orpheus stated, his voice calm. “There are no separate, scheduled tests. Your cumulative points are constantly being tallied, and the candidate with the lowest score will be eliminated.” I saw the truth land hard on Lyanna; even she looked completely shocked. So, when he warned me before that the Trial had already begun, this continuous scoring system was exactly what he m

Miss Daria continued, “The Seer test results are private. Only the Seer herself knows the details. You will be told your result, and no one else will see it.” A small relief washed through me, but not enough to steady my heart. If the Seer looked into me and found nothing — no wolf, no power — what would happen then? Miss Daria started walking again. “After the Seer Test, there will be three more stages. The second is the IQ Test. It measures how fast you can think, how well you solve problems, and how you handle pressure. The third is the Insight Session. You’ll pick a question from a box and speak on it before a few teachers. They’ll be watching how you reason and express yourself.”

The weekend has honestly felt like a thousand years but I wasn't loving coming back to school. I was still here at twenty minutes before my test in Calculus, a test I had completely forgotten about. I walked up to my locker and grabbed my calculus textbook and a protein bar, I was beyond late this morning and I couldn't even eat breakfast. TB walked past me with his group of friends in all there stupid glory and I just walked by the side. "OB!", I rolled my eyes when I realised it was Shatanye, it had been weeks since she last spoke to me. I turned around and I moved back when she I noticed she was without makeup.

She looked at me intensely without batting her eyes. “Hey! Blink your eyes. Otherwise, your eyes will be dry and sore. I don’t want to take care of you if you get sore eyes later.” Kanya lazily turned her gaze forward. “If I hurt my eyes, the sign is I can’t see anything weird anymore.” “You won’t be able to write later. Don’t underestimate sore eyes because it feels very uncomfortable when your vision is disturbed. So, just follow my words.” “Yeah, yeah,” She lazily replied.

I wasn’t going anywhere. It only took a second for him to slice my eyeball, and it didn’t hurt. He turned away for a moment, and then a second later, he was back with a pair of tweezers. I could feel a little bit of pressure as the ends of the tweezers scraped against my eye, but a second later, he let go of my eye. “How does it feel?” I blinked a few times. “Numb,” I replied. He nodded. “We need to try having you turn it on before I let Jamie touch you. Try this command, “IAC Cadence On.”
