The Alpha's Silenced Mate

The Alpha's Silenced Mate

Not under the pillow, not in the herb basket, not anywhere I had learned to check — but inside the front cover of the thick reference volume I used every single day, the one that lived on the center table of the healing house and had Vera's name written in faded ink on the first page and had been handled by every healer in this pack for the better part of a decade, and I found it when I opened the book to check a compound ratio mid-morning with Vera two feet away at the cabinet behind me. I saw the fold of the paper before I saw what it was, and something in my chest understood before my mind caught up, and I closed the book and said nothing and walked out of the healing house and into the c

The Forgotten King

The Forgotten King

We tied up our horses by that pole and walked into the cabin. The outside looked run down. Once we walk in, we see things are scattered everywhere. You could tell there was a struggle. I walked over to the table, it's littered with miscellaneous items but one thing stuck out to me. It was an old book with a silver moon on it. Picking it up, the book is hefty and thick, it looks interesting. I know I shouldn't steal but something drew me to the book. Plus I've done a lot worse than stealing. Still, Kathleen would be notably upset with me. Though, it is my kingdom. Technically I own everything here.

Forgotten Hues of Love

Forgotten Hues of Love

Like he did not want me to hear it but he forced himself to give me an answer. More tears fell from my eyes when I heard his words. Lung cancer... I stopped studying because she was sick before. That is why I ended up being a maid at Fronacios' mansion. After that, I could not remember anything. That is all I could remember clearly. I did not realize that I fell asleep in Ravaniel's arms. I was already in my room when I woke up the next day. When memories poured in my mind, I closed my eyes. "Nathrelya..."

The Forgotten Alpha

The Forgotten Alpha

Perhaps it was a reluctance born from the knowledge that within those ink-stained pages lay the tale of her family's fracture, a narrative she had already heard from Abel, her youngest brother. He had stood before her, his voice trembling with a mixture of guilt and desperation, recounting the events that had led them to this precipice. He confessed to his part in the upheaval, revealing a truth that had fractured the very foundation of their familial bond. It was a truth that still hung in the air, casting shadows over the once familiar contours of their lives.

I started this book back in Dec when it had maybe 60 chapters. The slow updates turned me off, so I started another book that was started in Dec. The book is completed today with 157 chapters yet this 1 still hasn't made any progress. Waste of my time. It’s been 4 mths N only 40 added chapters. Smh.

Whispers of the Forgotten

Whispers of the Forgotten

She had made her choice, and she would not dwell on things that could not be changed. On a quiet afternoon, Lyra found herself in the heart of an ancient library—a place she had visited many times before in her quests for forgotten memories. The library was vast, its shelves filled with scrolls and tomes that stretched back through the ages, documenting the lives, histories, and memories of countless souls. Dust hung in the air, illuminated by shafts of light that filtered through the tall windows. It was a place of peace, a sanctuary for those seeking knowledge.
