The garden stretched out beautifully-a masterpiece of calm. The grass was beautifully trimmed, the roses arranged in clusters of red, white, and yellow. A small fountain whispered quietly in the middle, and by either sides of it was a white oval swing chair, hanging in a carved wood frame. The cushion on it looked so soft enough, two people could sit on it. Maria left immediately as he walked over, brushing his fingers across the cushion before sitting down.
