The Hidden War General

The Hidden War General

Reading about the life of the man who had become his rival gave Arnold a deep sense of satisfaction. “So he really did suffer so much outside the palace.” “Oh, one more thing, General Reed.” “Yes?” “General Lee was once kidnapped and thrown into the sea, but he survived. The person who saved him was HC.” “HC? You mean Hector Corwell?” Arnold asked. The man nodded. “Yes, General. Hector Corwell kept his identity a secret and never even appeared in public. People know him as HC. He’s the number one businessman in this country.” “Huh? What did you say?”

Bride of the Human Alpha

Bride of the Human Alpha

"Three guards approaching from the east. Twenty seconds. We need to hide." We scattered into the underbrush, becoming part of the forest. The guards passed within feet of our position, talking casually about nothing important. They never looked our way. After they passed, we continued. I found the abandoned storage building exactly where Meera had described—forgotten, isolated, perfect for hiding something valuable. I picked the lock while Lyanna kept watch. Inside, the building was dark and dusty. Kael went straight to the back corner Meera had indicated, found the loose board, and pulled up a waterproof bag.

Hiding The Alpha's Son

Hiding The Alpha's Son

Jareth I went into the bedroom and pulled out the trunk that I kept hidden under the bed. There was nothing in the trunk that would give away my true identity, or Kevin’s. It just contained some supplies and things that might not be found in the cabin of a poor widowed hunter. Like a satellite phone, a fully stocked first aid kit, silver-laced restraints, and a sniper rifle.

The Wolf’s Fate

The Wolf’s Fate

Strange… As I kept looking, that same book was calling me. I could hear whispers coming from it, and my heart skipped a beat just at the sound of it. More growling caught my attention, as if begging me to grab it. And that’s what I did. I grabbed that book and hid it under my shirt. It was not big, so it fit perfectly under the fabric. I zipped up my sweater and sat down with the family as if nothing happened. “We are very happy that you decided to move up here and we promise you will love it,” Adira said, looking straight at me.

For a first werewolf story written by this author, it is a fantastic story that I really enjoyed, would have read it at once but had to keep the suspense. Finished reading this story the second time, could not just put it down. Well done for the twist in the story, made it more interesting.
Carol Murray
This was a great book! I couldn't even tell this was the author's first werewolf book, she had to tell me in the Author's Notes. Lots of cool twists, it's a great romance and coming-of-age story. I wish this platform had the ability to let me help the author proofread this wonderful story!!

Evolve to Survive

Evolve to Survive

While this man was hiding, he suddenly heard a long and drawn-out growl. The man quickly took out a leather-bound journal from the sling bag. He pulls out a worn-down pencil from one of his pockets. The journal had a title that was roughly erased with a purple pen. It was replaced by a beautifully written title. Twilight’s Book of Monsters. Peeking out of his hiding place, Twilight sees a hunch-backed humanoid climbing on top of one of the many vehicles stuck on the elevated highway. Its body was extremely emaciated. Its skin was stretched over its ribs. But the hiding man didn’t underestimate the creature.

The Tribrid’s Daughter (The Tribrid Series)

The Tribrid’s Daughter (The Tribrid Series)

I know I haven’t made it easy on either of them, but it is the only thing I haven’t been able to get over. “I’ll ensure everything is loaded and I’ll meet you at the truck.” I watch him go before turning and going to the hideout we found many years ago. I go to the library and ensure I am alone before pulling a book called White Fang. A bookshelf slides open and I enter, pushing the button to close the door. Not even my parents know about this little hideout. I reach the bottom of the stairs and sure enough I find Kai. Thanks to Kai these walls are sound proof and mind links don’t go through. He spelled it when we found it so it could be are safe haven to have some peace and quiet. Kai most

1st Death

1st Death

WHEN CAINE READ the latest update from the one person the public deemed missing about another person misplaced by the eyes of the birdwatchers, something clicked in his mind. The old Warehouse G that he was apparently hiding had been cleaned, cleared and abandoned during the end of the underground wars that he commended Albert’s quick-thinking of using it as his hideout: he knew the place like the back of his hand, it has hidden secrets and it’s pretty expendable. “I hope their plan goes well,” Caine said while he walked out of the orphanage to his car. He trusted them enough that he thought that his help wouldn’t be needed anyway.

Mated To The Enemy

Mated To The Enemy

Justin says which just make my eyes go wide, he'll go to any length to try and hurt Martha. I bolt into the house and up the stairs, someone was close on my heels but I was faster. I run into my room locking the door as the person runs into it, I needed to hide all of the evidence. I pick up all the notebooks and library books, my arms were quite full as I lug them over to the side of the room. My door sounds as though it's being booted in as I lift the floor board up, of course I have a secret hiding place for my things. My mum would always tell me where the best hiding places were, all the other places had been found apart from this one. My mum wasn't hiding anything bad that I know of, sh

was going into hiding and they told me that they will help me get out here without being noticed. The reason I'm going in hiding, the I noticed that I was half darkness hunter just by half of my face being covered in short black fur and a white eyes. When I get to the same path that I was on, so many years ago and try to make my 34 years brain, to remember when it is after some time but I did find the camp set again. THE HIDDEN SECRETS

THE HIDDEN SECRETS

It sounds like two hungry animals are fighting for dominance. Cautiously, I took two slow steps towards that noise and witnessed that Rakesh and Emiem were kissing, hungrily. I don't know whether to be happy nor sad. Why him? Of all people why him? How the hell he got that syringe? Not wanting to reveal myself there, I turned my back and headed back to my cabin. The only source I have with mine is "The Hidden Secrets" and I have read it many times but couldn't able to find any new things as some of the words on pages 14 and 15 were a blur as someone caused this purposely.
