Incognito II The creature was in the figure of a man, but his features were strikingly different. He stood tall, around six feet, with a muscular build that exuded both power and grace. His skin had a subtle, dusky tone, and his eyes were a piercing, ice-blue that seemed to glow with an inner light. His hair, thick and raven-black, framed a face that was both rugged and handsome, with high cheekbones and a strong jawline.

It was as if something nailed her sight on the man's eyes. From the look of his pants, he was in a suit, but right now he had only his shirt on, which was also ripped open. He had one of his hand in his pocket as he stood between Ann and Lilith, and the lights of his convertible were like the spotlight of his personal show. Ann knew the man's evil smile was yelling out danger, yet all she could think of was the perfect figure showing under the unbuttoned shirt... "Miss? Answer me." The man laughed, but Ann didn't answer.

THE MAN IN YELLOW

I opened the door—but didn’t step aside. He looked exhausted. Tie loosened. Jacket wrinkled. The man who never lost control looked like he’d been holding himself together with thread. “You shouldn’t be here,” I said. “I know,” he replied. “But you disappeared.” “I told you I needed space.” “You resigned from everything,” he said. “That’s not space. That’s exile.” I let out a slow breath. “It was survival.” He nodded slowly. “Then let me help you survive.” “No,” I said quietly.

He had his head bowed and his hands grasped in prayer. A bearded man wearing a golden crown floated in the upper right side of the frame. He too had different shades of light emitting from him. I guessed him to be God. The last picture that I came to study was so beautiful because of the artist's amazing attention to detail. It looks more like a photograph than a painting. But the scene itself was haunting and dark. It featured two naked men, one of them appeared to be jerking the other backward and pinning him there, biting at the corner of his neck.

he inquired casually. She seemed startled from her reading, "O-oh. No. Just...looking at some illustrations." "Ah." He could smell a nervous scent wafting off of her. She was lying. But he didn't press the matter. He was too busy presently. Twillow stared at the illustrations and the fancily scrawled heading that read: Giants. The illustration looked like a horrible, drooling, sharp-toothed, yellow-eyed demon, with gray skin, a thick matted beard, and towered over the scribbled trees.

The girl jumped in surprise, especially when she found Illarion was shirtless and only wearing shorts. The burly man smiled, and Amanda lowered her gaze again. She was embarrassed to see the handsome man in front of her. 'Why does he have to be half naked like that?' Illarion caught Amanda's chin, turning her face, so their irises met. This was new to him. He wanted to know the contents of the book, and when he turned the pages he found several poems. He also noticed the marvelous illustrations in the book. He really liked them. While Lin was browsing through the book, a certain old man was staring at him although he didn’t seem to notice. Apparently, it was the bookseller and he stood reading today’s journal. The bookseller wore a white vest and wore thick-rimmed spectacles so that he looked like a truly avid reader.

"How did you get in? Who are you?" The man stepped into light and just then were they able to see him clearly. Average height, not too muscular but a little bit buffed with tattoos curled around his neck to his bald head like a warning. His lips twitched just as his eyes narrowed, taking in the two people before him. Ella clutched her brother to her side, her heart beating so fast she thought it would implode. "I believe we haven't met, pretty damsel," the man said, smiling devilishly, exposing his yellow teeth as his men appeared from the shadows. "Your brother is not the saint you think he is. He works for us, the Corps."

The guard then rushed to get Vital Orange. “Sir Ivor, to what do I owe the pleasure of your visit” soon the man Mane had seen in the images of the Record Stone appeared. He wasn’t wearing his signature uniform, and was covered in loose clothes but they couldn’t hide his impressive physique. He spoke to Ivor with a lot of caution, as if he was afraid of offending Ivor with his tone. “There’s no need to be so formal,” Ivor sat down comfortably with his limbs spread akimbo like the house was his, yet Vital Orange didn’t seem offended by his actions.
