The cold had been terrible, and as cool as the Westlands looked, I still preferred Dawnsville over it. A carriage was waiting for us as we stood near the border that separated Dawnsville and the Westlands. “Oh, finally.” Cassio exclaimed as he rolled on the dusty, warm floor. The two guards who stood near the carriage, had a bewildered experience on their faces. They tried hard to maintain a neutral expression.

There's a smirk on his face as he glance at the Governess. ‘Want to get me so easily? Dream on! If I don't take advantage of this, then no one will!’ Will they do it? Will be they willing to sacrifice? The government has gotten back a lot of land during these past few years, and one of those are in the north, which is one of the most scarce zombie populated areas. It was being prepared to become another base, larger than any other bases that exists right now. The weather there is nice, the resources are abundant, and naturally chosen to be the high-ranking official's new land.

I smiled, grabbed her hand, and placed a kiss on it. “Why would I need to? I have you to defend me, don’t I?” Jasmine froze for a moment, staring at me blankly. After a while, just as I began to think I had ruined everything with my reckless confession, a feather-light kiss brushed my cheek. Jasmine turned away and spoke in a soft voice, “Then I guess I’ll just have to keep an eye on you from now on.” The sunlight bathed her in a golden glow, etching her into my memory as the most beautiful sight I had ever seen.

The sky split in two—half gold, half shadow—and from the line between them emerged new land. It shimmered like crystal glass and breathing soil—a living continent born from sound.
