For answers that the Heartstone, the rift, and even Morwen’s confession hadn’t given me. So I returned to the library fully now. Not the main hall,but the far win,the abandoned shelves. The place where forgotten books gathered dust like old regrets. No one went there. Not even the librarians. It was said that the books there had nothing useful,only outdated theories, broken incantations, and failed experiments. But sometimes, the most dangerous truths hide in plain sight… or in plain neglect. That afternoon, I went to the library alone. I wasn't looking for any book in particular. I ran my fingers along the spines, listening to the silence and allowing it to guide me.

I only kept the Alpha and Luna’s quarters and t,hen I had everything else demolished and t,he library was built. This is my floor, my solitude. I make my way to the library first, I don't know why but I feel something pulling me there. Chapter 105: Mara's POV The flickering candlelight waltzed along the walls of my chamber as I stared out of the window, the moonlight kissing the outline of my body as if honouring its existence, as I dreamt about what was to come. I had a dream about a giant wooden, intricately carved table covered in battle maps, scrolls and very old books. Every item was a clue, a piece of the masterwork I was composing. Resting my hands on the lip of the table, I was trembling slightly, not out of fear or fatigue, but out of the sheer enormity of what I was about to do. The centuries weighed on my shoulders, the unrealized potential of the witches whose line I was from.

Dim, golden light illuminates narrow aisles, casting long shadows that twist and shift with each step. The library is silent, save for the soft rustle of turning pages and the occasional squeak of a trolley wheel as librarians glide between shelves like wraiths. Their movements are unnervingly silent, their faces impassive as they climb ladders to retrieve books or vanish into shadowy alcoves. The atmosphere presses down on me, a solemn reminder of the knowledge stored here and the secrets it might hold.

While Uncle Jayden, Dad and Hans focused on their respective pack's immediate needs, I found myself drawn to the dusty, forgotten corners of our Midnight pack's library. Hans wasn’t thrilled about me being here alone of course, but with Samuel and Beta Trent busy combing through Blood Moon Pack's records, and Mom and Uncle Aidan deep in Crescent Moon’s archives, I convinced him to let me take this task on. More like compromised because I am surrounded by some of our pack members. The library smelled of old paper and aged leather—a comforting scent despite the daunting task ahead. Scrolls and tomes were piled high on the oak table before me, their fragile pages filled with stories of old ritu

The light moved faster now, as if it had been waiting forever for me to come closer. The burning torches also began to dance as I followed the light on the shelves. Iran too was quiet, not daring to say a word and risk breaking me out of concentration. The light finally came to a stop at the deepest part of the old library. There was a glassed shelf there that held a sort of scroll. I slowly walked to it and the first line at the top got me. "The Unmaking." Iran frowned. "It's a prophecy. Read it." I swallowed hard. "From the hour Light divides the sky. . . And Darkness clings with insatiable hunger. . . Robed in shadows, walks the one who tears the veil. . . Or worse, unmakes the world."

She was sure they were happy together in heaven, watching over her and guiding her every step of the way. As they entered Lady Eren's library room, Unah couldn't help but feel a sense of awe. The room was filled with books, each one bound in leather and adorned with gold. The shelves were tall and lined with intricate carvings, and the soft glow of the lanterns cast a warm light on the room. "What are we doing here? There are plenty of books in the Palace," Unah asked Leon, her curiosity piqued. "We're here to hear a real story," he replied with a mysterious smile.
