The Lion Tracker's Guide To Life Novels & Stories

Keegan POV: We agreed that it was best to keep a close eye on Brant. We had to stay a step ahead of him. Clement was going to send two of his best trackers to Darwin. If anyone could find dirt on Brant and his family, it would be the tracker wolves in Clement’s pack. Somehow, his tracking skills had taken on a technological side, making one of the good with computers and numbers and the other to physically follow people and through new detective methods. They were invaluable assets to the pack.

Chapter 21: Her Special Ability "Prudence just lost the last of their best trackers. All we have right now is Hyrum," said Calgary as we gathered at the pack house with Alpha Quira, her Beta, Ariz, Lynel, Alpha Lawrence and Ahma. My fingers clasped. The atmosphere around was too thick, probably because we all know that our District is in so much trouble. Mayhem had no trackers for two decades now while Claivan was never given any. Trackers are special types of wolves who can sense anything even when it was miles away. They were born with the strongest senses. Some show their abilities early like Mom, some were late bloomers.

“It’s dark now though. The sky has really clouded over. I doubt I could see anything in the bushes even if I knew it were there.” “True that,” he mumbled grudgingly. “Wish the snow had come, I could track the beast. Stupid frozen ground. Best get yerself inside girl, ye never know when those animals will attack. They come in packs you know. Dozen’s of them, all with great big maws full of teeth to tear the flesh right off ye.” Liana stepped back to the door, fumbling with the nob. “We...we only heard one howl. I’m sure there...there was only one.”

"Me too, I'm not stopping tonight so I should be there sometime this morning." "Sounds great, I can't sleep anyway." She laughed. After a long conversation, the call finally ended. I scrolled through my music playlist while at a red light. I wanted to listen to something that will wake me up. A light bulb flipped on in my head. I clicked the Lion King soundtrack and the opening song blared through my speakers. I began to scream to the lyrics and drove down a dark narrow road. "The circle of life!" I could barely hear myself from how loud I had it. The soundtrack continued and I didn't stop to breathe.

" Let's start from the basics, how do you catch a prey?" “Track signs. Movement. Anything fresh.” “You’re the tracker,” I said, wiping sweat from my forehead. “I’m just here to provide moral support and look pretty while dying of dehydration.” She stuck her tongue out at me.“You’re doing great at both.” “Gee, thanks.” We moved round dunes, the sun scorching us the more till i caught sight of something, a faint trail, half-buried in sand. Large prints, clawed. Whatever made them was big and fast.

"You? Camping? You don't exactly seem the type." "I am," he shrugged. "But not with deer or chicken." I raised an eyebrow. "Then what do you camp with?" "Lions. Tigers. Every now and again wolves," he said matter-of-factly. "Out in the wild. Sometimes by themselves." I blinked. "Is that supposed to impress you?" He stared at me, a small smile on his lips. "To be a beast, you must fight beasts." I rolled my eyes, smiling slightly. "So it's proving something, then?"

he wondered aloud. “What?” Jayden asked coming to join him. “We are miles away from home. They couldn’t have come this far. We are wolves, territorial animals, there’s no way they would wander too far off in a place they are not so familiar with.” “You are right.” “I think we need to backtrack. We may have missed something.” Lance agreed with him. Noah was a good warrior and the best tracker any pack would be lucky to have and he trusted him.

Joe shook Hunter's hand. “I said maybe, my plan is to leave with two chicks tonight, but she seems like a whole package. She's two in one.” They both laughed. “Maybe we can split her.” “Bro what's my name?” Hunter asked, his face falling. “What you mean, bro?” “My name is Hunter, I'm a lion. I don't share my food.” “You need to start coming up with a better phrase, lions do share their food. They hunt together and eat the prey together with the other lions.”

see his father, the Animal was laying on the ground with blood rushing out from a big wound at his fore head, he was not dead, but he sure was too weak to attack him, he looked around and founded his father laying at a corner in the house, he had been tossed away by the angry beast, his intestine out and he had his hand covering his torn cloth and it was covering a big wound infected on his by the lion, he tried to.save his father by calling on neighbors, they were the one that helped him by taking the father away for treatment, he did not die eventually and was still alive, Kuni grew up scared of forest, he had seen his mother and his two sisters killed by the beast and it always look like

That Lionel has the best resources on the planet and could find us in only a few hours. But I think better of that. No point in actually giving him useful information. But I need one last question. “Are you sure? Who could even get close enough to do that?” I goad. “Who else but one of his personal trackers? The man hates Lionel. He’s been sabotaging quite a few of his little hunts.” ‘Bingo,’ I think. ‘That’s all I needed.’ I try not to show my eagerness to leave. “When is this supposed to go down?”
