The Lion Tracker's Guide To Life Novels & Stories

Those answers could very well mean life of death soon. “We keep quiet and try to observe who comes and goes from the packhouse. We’re not to engage if we can avoid it. Come back here once we know who and what everyone inside is.” David stated as he repeated his and his partner’s instructions. Being trackers helped. They wouldn’t need to get close or see what people looked like. They just needed to find the scent trail and line it up to the person. Later, they could track or identify them just by a sniff.

The tracker takes a whiff of air around, agreeing with the king’s plan. “Should I keep following their tracks?” He asks for further instructions about himself. “Yes. I need them to think we are still following, so they won’t change their direction again.” Marcus quickly replies to his question. The tracker doesn’t need anything else. He fully understands the king’s plan for luring his little prey straight into his arms.

And Rita's still there. Thinking of Rita's sufferings, Liam's face turned cold and stern. "Give me a tracker." Jacob took out and handed two of the trackers to him immediately. Liam asked Jacob to prepare some trackers before they climbed the mountain to cope with the blizzard and the possibility of getting lost in case of emergency so they could be rescued instantly by those who were staying at the foot of the mountain by the accurate location from the tracker if they were in danger. Liam put the tracker into the pocket and made his decision,

“I’ve been tracking since I was a pup, and Brant’s dad is one of the best trackers in the country. How?!” My team just smirks. Lincoln shrugs casually. “First, we packed provisions to stay hydrated and strong.” A few guilty nods of acknowledgment follow. “Second, we shifted. Third, Zahra’s wolf is a total badass.” I blush a little at the way he smiles at me. “Instead of tracking each pack member or rank, she followed the Elite warriors who hid the items.” Absolute silence. “Genius,” Jasper says, beaming. “Why didn’t I think of that?”

“Stop shaking like a child and keep your eyes on the brush.” “You are not afraid of facing the black wolf?” the tracker pressed, tilting his head in disbelief. “Fear is a luxury for weak men,” I countered. “We have a job to do and we are going to finish it.” The truth was simple enough: I knew that tracking Drogo and Liana back to their stronghold meant walking straight into the mouth of the beast. They could easily rip us apart in the dark before my father ever reached the ridge with reinforcements, but the thought of dying no longer held any power over me.

"Half li northeast. The canopy closes there — old growth, tight root systems, bad ground for group movement." "Can Tino's leg handle it at speed." Tino answered before Bayang could. "Yes." I looked at him. He met my gaze without flinching, which told me the answer was probably not yes but was close enough that arguing about it would cost more than accepting it. "Move," I said. "Now. Northeast. Bayang leads. Kael, stay behind Tino." We were thirty seconds into moving when the first tracker beast screamed. Not a scream exactly — a cultivation beast's distress call sounds like something between a hawk's cry and a blade being dragged across stone, high and directional and designed to signal to i

He asks nervously as I place the lightweight tracker into his hand. “It’s a gps tracker. You’ve been spooked into running away twice. The first time they took care of you. This second time you nearly got whipped. I know Maverick took care of you but he was helpless to prevent this whipping without reporting to the council. While this pack has been in need of new leadership for a while, it’s going to be a difficult adjustment to something so sudden. This does not confine you to my pack but it will allow us to find you should you get spooked again. It will allow us to keep you out of the hard core packs that you won’t do well in.”

“That was only one councilman. Frankly, he seems a bit obsessed with her and the idea of her surviving. No matter how much I corrected, he would refuse to believe it. He is now convinced that the eldest of the Henry's daughters went into her younger sister's room, stole some clothes to mask her scent, but left her younger sister's scent trail to be followed. It doesn’t make any logical sense, to be honest. There is no arguing with stupid, however.” The Commander stared at the tracker, his mouth gaping open in stunned silence, taken aback by the bluntness of the tracker. Trackers don’t sugarcoat, however. They rely solely on instincts and facts so that they don’t hold back their honesty. I wo

I instinctively crouched, trying to get low enough to be hidden in the grass as I eased to the opposite side of the mare, I was beginning to adore. I saw the grass moving. Parting very rapidly. But I heard nothing. Which means it’s a predator. I saw the tips of brown ears and rather scraggly brown fur. Relaxing a bit, I leaned up enough to get a better look at those familiar ears. “Lionel?” I whispered. His head popped up. Blinking yellow eyes at me. He gave a slight whine and I waved him over. He hunkered and rushed to me. “You shouldn’t be here.” I whispered to him. Looking furtively around as I led him behind that huge square boulder. “You’re in the camp of a pack. They could kill you.”
