I focused on the mushrooms because the alternative was looking at him with those muscles. I was still in the process of rebuilding cool Morana who didn’t care that he’d been cold this morning. Then her expression shifted slightly, and worry crept across her face. "But I'm kind of scared. These mushrooms aren't going to kill me, right? Nova, you grew up in the countryside in Aethoria. Can't you just check if they're safe to eat?" I blinked innocently. "I haven't been back to my hometown in years. I don't know anything about mushrooms anymore. It was really late after all, and I know that she usually has trouble sleeping. I'll just carry her back to where her group is and wake her up so she can walk past them. Though these days, I let my men do the torturing while I sit back and enjoy the view. Right at the middle of the room is a huge swimming pool and from the first look, it would look like any normal pool but as the water starts to boil up and then, the scaly creatures that start to surface, would make you think otherwise. tbh i wasn't planning a happy ending but changed my mind. For how much i made them suffer i think they deserve a happy ending so here it is. somehow i feel that this story is a little special for me as all the characters are somehow representing my personality. i just write for fun but i wrote this novel while going through some difficult phases like university entrance and starting a new journey this novel really helped me escape the exhausting reality and feel myself again. to all the readers thank you for supporting me and thank you kongfu team for the contracts and consultation.
