The Lycan Queen By Foxtail Novels & Stories

"A Royal Lycan can save his mate simply by being nearby when its health condition deteriorates. If this is known to others, many will take advantage of it by keeping our mate away before killing us." I nodded in understanding. "No wonder this special ability isn't written in any books." "Please, send my regards to your mate. I will see her as soon as this matter is over, hopefully before your wedding day," the Queen said tearfully. We said our goodbyes that night so she wouldn't get emotional when she saw me off. Although Maddox and his colleagues were suspicious, they wouldn't tell anyone about it. I was sure they would keep our secret.

The last thing I wanted was to attract anyone’s attention. The crowd seemed to shift, parting ever so slightly as a woman approached with slow, measured steps. Her heels clicked against the marble floor, each movement deliberate, exuding confidence. She was tall, stunning, with sharp features and piercing eyes that roamed over the gathered women like a Queen surveying her court. “Oh, that’s Isabella,” a girl whispered near me, her voice trembling with awe. “She’s the Lycan King’s favorite.” “She’s practically royalty,” another girl murmured. “No one crosses her and gets away with it.”

"Hybrids are protected species. Any hybrid discovered will be brought to Shadowpeak for sanctuary. Anyone who harms a hybrid will face the same punishment as harming pack." Aldric's face darkens. "You can't just..." "I'm the Lycan King. I absolutely can." Valerian's eyes flash gold. "Does anyone challenge my authority?" Silence answers him. "Good. We'll vote. All in favor of recognizing Aria Thorne as hybrid queen?" Rykker is immediately on his feet. "Aye." Kova rises. "Aye." Others stand slowly at first, then more and more. I count carefully. More than half the room eventually stands.

Isla's plan made sense if we could build up an army of true Moon Goddess followers Zeeb won't stand a chance. “The prophecy of the Lycan King begins.” Isla smiled.

“I won’t let you be happy because of this. Remember that. My queen.” When Shahila said “my queen”, she gave a little bow. A mocking bow. Harper rolled her eyes at her and stormed off. None of the words she said has shaken her. Not anymore. Harper knows that now, she’s the more powerful one. Everything and everyone are under her. Even the Lycan King. She closed the door behind her as she entered her room. The nurse-maid was feeding little Hector with milk on a bottle. “Please leave.” – Harper said and the nurse-maid obliged instantly

I open my mouth to ask him what he finds funny, but he says, “My dear, we can never deny your scent. It’s distinct only to the royal family of Lycans.” I frown. “Lycans?” “Yes,” Queen Helena says. She seems eager to explain. “We are just like wolves, but of a higher order. More powerful. More formidable.” For some reason, that makes something click in my mind. I remember that I’m a werewolf, but a weaker one. A really weak one. Colors swirl in my head and I almost conjure some memories, but they break off and form something else. Then a face flashes in my mind, the face of a boy. It vanishes as soon as it comes, but it brings pain in my chest.

Kaiden inhaled a sharp breath and said, “Proceed.” “People say the Lycan King is a man that has lived for over a thousand years. Even after living for so many years, the moon goddess didn't bless him with a mate. So they say he attends every banquet even if he's uninterested only because he was in search of his mate.” Oliver said in one breath. “What if his mate is from our pack?”

Evelyn asserted. "Now that everything's over, what's next?" Levi inquired. "We go home and have a drink," Sebastian suggested, a big smile on his face. • • • • • • • • • • • • • Six months had passed since the intense battles that reshaped the dynamics of the Lycan wirld. Levi, despite the opportunity to ascend as the alpha, relinquished the position, entrusting the rule to Sebastian, who now stood at the helm with Mia as his mate. The decision was not merely a strategic move but a profound acknowledgment of trust and camaraderie forged through trials.

He grabbed it before biting her wrist and started drinking her blood. I could sense that the girl was in pain but, as a perfect slave, she remained quiet and still. I felt a tinge of sympathy but then again, Max needed to drink blood to survive so it was fine. The conversation with Nik helped put things into perspective. "Also, Avalyn killed Vasilik. She is the Queen of Mozog now," Nik said conversationally. "Killed the centuries old fucker? I'd love to hear what happened." Max looked at me.
