“You just sign a document. It states that you agree never to go near Aurora again. If you break that agreement, the king reserves the right to execute you on sight.” I blinked. Surely I misheard. I looked at the man’s hands and there it was. A document. He was serious. That bastard king. He thought he could win this war so easily? “Take that garbage and shove it down the king’s throat,” I growled. “Tell him I’ll never sign it. He can do whatever he wants.” The man’s smirk didn’t falter. He unrolled the paper. “I don’t care if I have to shove a silver-loaded gun in your face. You’re signing this. I’m not the king. I don’t have his patience.”

I commanded firmly. Palmer flinched, silently contemplating before nodding. He scooped me up in his arms and started using his wolf limbs to jump from tree to tree. I felt chills when I felt the breeze charming me, but I ignored it and proceeded to see that person. Damn it... Royal decree? Being declared a royal decree had the same power effect as the royal seal. It could mean that no one could deny nor refuse whatever the Alpha King cited the decree. Failing to comply could lead to treason.

I laughed dryly. His Majesty held my hand. "I'll speak with Father to revoke his decree. I swear I will do everything." I jerked his hand away. "A decree is as strong as a royal seal, Your Majesty. You cannot just revoke it or else it will be deemed unworthy for someone in the highest authority of executing orders. It will be bound immediately. You should know that already." I passed by him. I felt his presence and his scent behind me. I just let him since I didn't have an ounce to argue with him. All I wanted was to lay on my bed and lock myself up in my room.

Red and unmistakable. "A royal decree," he explained. "To be read publicly and distributed throughout the kingdom." My stomach dropped. "Publicly?" "Yes, Princess," he confirmed. I glanced at Ethan. His expression was carefully neutral, but I could see the tension in his shoulders. "Very well," I said slowly. "Read it." Caden broke the seal and unfolded the parchment. He cleared his throat and began to read, his voice carrying through the hall. "By order of His Majesty, King Alaric Darius, the following decree is issued to all citizens of the kingdom."

“Did the Queen know about this?” I asked, though deep down, I already knew the answer. Selie didn’t respond immediately. Instead, she reached into her bag, pulling out a single sheet of parchment. She laid it on my desk with a deliberate movement. It was an official decree, signed and stamped with Queen Romella’s royal seal. A decree authorizing the so-called “punishment” of nobles appointed by Aeternum.

“I’m your enemy because I didn’t stay useful.” His hands trembled. “Stand down,” he snapped at his men, voice cracking. I smiled wider. Too wide. “See,” I said, “that’s the thing about decrees. They work great on paper.” I lifted my hand. The forest answered. Roots surged. Shadows moved. The night leaned forward like it had been waiting for permission. “But out here?” I finished softly. “You’re just men. And I am having a very bad week.” The first hunter lunged.

I knew his grudge against Viktor was justified, but I never imagined he would go this far. His threat about me returning in a week didn’t faze me. He could go straight to hell for all I cared. In fact, a new desire to be with Viktor burned through me, knowing it would eat Rhyder alive inside. Maybe that was what enraged him so much. But something more urgent had my attention now. "Decree of Eternal Severance," I whispered, the words like a grip tightening around my throat. It was the harshest punishment in existence. A law meant to purge this world of abnormal and dangerous creatures in order to protect us. But even then, no one deserved an eternal punishment.

One wise man once said man are workers and man are providers, in addition I would say real man are the ones who have achieved salvation. Look at this there is no manly figure that can surpass what Jesus Christ did on the cross ,and there is no man who has achieved the reward that Jesus Christ attained. Being a man is knowing the real man who has an achievement and learn from Him.

"You stand on sovereign pack land, leading an illegal invasion! Lower your weapons or face the High Alpha's judgment!" ​William looked down from the gatehouse, a cold, mocking smile twisting his thin lips. ​"Judgment?" William sneered, holding up a heavy iron medallion glowing with an ominous crimson light—a High Council Decree signed with three distinct blood-crests. "You have no judgment here, boy. The Council has already declared you unfit. They know what you sought in the subterranean vault. They know you intend to break the sacred anchor!"

“And you bring more than curiosity. You bring warning.” “I bring truth,” the man answered. “The High Council of the Old Order has gathered. They are the ones who wrote the rules, who guarded the seals, who decided for centuries what was safe and what was forbidden. They say what you have done is not progress — it is an offense against the way the world was meant to be. They say you have torn down the boundaries that keep us safe. And they are sending messengers. Not to talk. Not to listen. To judge, and to undo.”
