So I actually had a wolf but it didn’t awaken because of my father? That man was more cruel than I ever thought. “I’ll tell you everything you need to know. Call me when you’re free.” As the call ended, I turned to Lucien, my eyes glistened with tears. But it wasn’t because I was sad, it was tears of joy. “I’m not actually cursed, I have a wolf.” He nodded. “Yeah…you were never cursed. You’re too amazing to be cursed. Your father was just an asshole.” He said, his voice comforting. “Come here.”

Fagua I stumbled backwards as the wolves closed in. His words promised to deliver exactly what he’d said. I didn't know what he'd do to me, but I didn't like the gleam in his eyes or the wolves around me. "How come you've never turned, girl? Got too much of your damn Ma in you." He sneered. "All you need is a few bites to get the change fever going. Handy it's a full moon coming up soon." I'd never been bitten by a wolf my entire life. "That won't work. If I haven't become a wolf now, I won't ever."

But instead of old stories from my grandmother’s life, the pages were scrawled with strange symbols and sketches—shorthand in her handwriting explaining the purpose of different runes and sigils. Flipping through the pages, there were sketches of wolves, and the last page that she’d written in had a detailed rendition of a nightmarish wolf-beast that made my blood run cold at the sight of it, it’s eyes smudged over with charcoal in the shape of a protective rune. My heart raced when I realized what I was holding. This was no ordinary journal, it was a spell book.

Shy, quiet and head always buried in her books. *Poor girl," someone in the row in front of me whispers. “I heard Jessica heard her telling one of her friends that she has a crush on Kaeren." Oh so she's a worshipper of the asshole as well! Too bad! Both of them shift into their wolves, Jessica's a medium sized brown wolf with brown eyes, and Emory’s a grey wolf with green eyes. “Begin!" The professor calls out.

But I knew if we leave her alone during her first shift, she'd die, or she'd never manage to do it, and both options didn't sit well with me, I need her to be safe and happy, to stay near me. "It hurt," she cries out, and I nuzzled her, ignoring her vampire sent and just focusing on her wolf side, she finally managed to do it, she shifted fully, instead of Millie stood a medium size wolf, she's not a puppy, but she's not near my size, she's medium, a bit on the smaller size, a white wolf. "Beautiful," dad says from his side, white wolves are rare, she's one of the rarest wolves out there, being a mixed species, one who could fully shift to both sides.

We assume he was a Norseman, but no one knows how he got the lupus garou illness. "Some say a wolf bit him, but instead of dying, his blood fought off the infection by mutating," Silva hypothesized. "I didn't think Ravena was a werewolf because she's so small compared to the rest of you." "We're called gray wolves." Silva sat a little higher. "Ravena's a fiery red." "Are there Mexican werewolves as well?" Other types?" "Mexican wolves are really grays," Silva observed. "They're known as Mexican wolves in the Southwest." Timberwolves are also grays in the Northeast."

Tell who you are. The footsteps were slow and deliberate. Then they stopped. There was no sound until I turned. ‘Who are you?’ I echoed again. ‘We have net before.’ She paused and looked at me. I stared back and didn’t say a word. My wolf growled within me, waiting for a go-ahead from me to strike. ‘I am Miranda, the last of the witches of the royal coven.’ ‘Are they not supposed to be extinct?’ ‘We are. But a witch caused me to sleep for a hundred years and I had only recently awoken.’

Author's Note: If you read an early version of Wolfbane (Book 1), you will notice that the names of the packs in Quebec have now changed. Here are the changes: > Pack Bois Foncé is now the Bois Sombre Pack > Pack Lune Taïga is now the Lune Nordique Pack I apologize for any confusion! *** ALEXANDER

As the fight got more intense, the two werewolves shifted, so that where two men were fighting before, there was a very large grey wolf, Thomas, and a slightly smaller black wolf, Jonas. The wolves circled each other, the grey one’s eyes full of wisdom, experience, and anger. In the black wolf’s eyes were a knowing look … and triumph, which was weird because it was being beaten hands down. Several bones in its body had been broken and it was favoring its right front leg, whereas the other wolf was very much unhurt. The fact that the black wolf was being beaten did not seem to faze it, though. Its eyes kept darting around, as though searching for something, so the pack members thought that it

The armies kept trying and when they were not able to make a scratch at the two beasts, they decided to retreat, but they could not as Iron was already alive, and he was standing by the road, where stood as the only road they were supposed to pass, he stood and forceful pulled out the last arrow by his chest, and just as said by the priest, the arrow wounded his heart, and that turned around and made him love violent always.
