Taming Mr. Wolffe

Taming Mr. Wolffe

He hadn’t even finished talking when the door was thrown open and a middle-aged woman in a blue uniform and a white apron around her ample midsection breezed into the room. “Matthew…” she stopped short when she saw he wasn’t alone. Her cheeks turned red as she hurriedly walked backward toward the door. “I am so sorry,” she chuckled with her hand on her chest. “I thought this rogue was still asleep. Forgive me, Miss.” Her eyes twinkled mischievously. Sophia who barely had time to throw the covers over her bare legs chuckled behind her hands. When the door closed behind Marie she turned to find Matt laughing and clutching his sides. She hit him with her fist and tried unsuccessfully to assume

The mysterious death of Max

The mysterious death of Max

She took me by the hand and led me to her. Dinner had been quite good, Mrs. Stuart, who asked me to please call her Magdalena, was quite talkative. She told me about Max and his childhood. Max was sitting in a chair in the corner just watching the scene. He had been quiet the entire time. Surely he was discouraged because we couldn't find his letter. I felt bad about that too. At about eight o'clock at night we left Magda's house, she asked me to please visit her more often and if she could accompany her to the cemetery tomorrow after school. I had to accept because it hurt me to say no. When we got home Max was still quiet.

The Misstress's Revenge

The Misstress's Revenge

Callie's POV ***WARNING: THE FOLLOWING CHAPTER CONTAINS SEXUAL CONTENT. 18+ ONLY *** "I know a guy who sells chloroform, that's the easiest way you're going to drug someone long enough to get him where you want them to be," Melanie twirled her spoon into her coffee, mixing the contents. We were sitting in the back of a Waffle House a few blocks from my apartment, having a late breakfast and gossiping over my latest scheme. I diligently jotted down her information into a composition book which pages were now filled with an act of hostility much greater than anything I was used to.

“Look at that, Wrenfield. Your wife just got a promotion.” “Don’t ever call me Wrenfield again,” Wren told him with a look that made Max flinch. “I think we should get down to business or at least try to make sense of what we have.” -

Divorce on my Birthday, Revenge on His.

Mrs Camilla returned her attention to her food, smiling to herself. Without breaking eye contact, Max added casually, “I had to stop by to see my little niece.” Rosina almost choked on her coffee. Max was instantly on his feet, moving to her side and patting her back. “Oh, sorry! Drink… drink,” he urged, pouring water into her glass fully aware that it wasn’t the coffee that had caught in her throat. Mrs. Camilla beamed. “Look at how caring he is. Such a wonderful cousin.” Max smiled modestly. “Well, we grew up in the same house. She’s more than a cousin to me…”

One-Night Stand: Accidental Surrogacy for Billionaire

“What are you talking about? I didn’t say that? You are just secretary, who are you to talk me like that?” “She is Max’s aunt,” one of the female secretaries said to Mrs. Turner as it became clear that they were going to fight. Mrs. Turner said mockingly, “Whats the big deal? His mother doesn’t even care about him. I believe that children should be in school rather than working there. That’s inappropriate!” When Alice realized Mrs. Turner was taunting Max, she became enraged and yelled, “Shut your filthy mouth!”

COLOURS OF THE DEVIL

COLOURS OF THE DEVIL

I ignored her brief speech about marrying Harrison for his money. “Yes, you'll graduate in the morning, and then you'll be Mrs. Mobley by evening — you may even carry a baby Mobley by midnight,” she cackled, and a bitter lump formed in my throat. “That's enough, Blair!” An angry Maxwell walked into the sitting room. Cookie trailed in by his side. “You will leave Miss Pebbles alone.” He was fuming from his ears. With his palms clenched at his sides, he began hyperventilating.

IF THIS ISN'T ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I'VE READ ON AN APP LIKE THIS, THEN I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS. This book has the most unique plot ever. The writing is some professional sh¡t, plus the characters are so real. Finally, a book that's not about CEOs or werewolves. Enjoyed every single chapter. Great job!

This book is so emotional. It makes my heart bleed for poor pebble. I can't take the pain but when she meets Ace I love the beautiful relations they share it's magical and it's like a fairytale with hurdles that the princess needs to cross before she make it to finish line. Please just read the book

Weathering the Storm

Weathering the Storm

As Max walked around the green field next to the building, he taught out of watching Henry run around looking for his newest rock that would be exactly like the others he had collected and kept by his travel bed in Max’s office. Beyond The Hallow Grave: Editingle Indie House Anthology (Ed

After some time, she exited the field and returned to the porch. Mrs. Belfry sat on the top step, staring out over the field as the setting sun painted the sky a vibrant purple and orange. From time to time she caught a glimpse of Renfield darting in and out of the corn stalks, hot on the heels of a field mouse. In all of her years, she’d only been to America a handful of times. This particular room, she had molded around a farm in Indiana that she found especially pleasing to the senses. With a temper like hers, spots like this were essential in keeping her calm. So, she sat there for many hours. After some time, Renfield emerged from the stalks with the field mouse in his mouth. He played
