He was used to me trying to run wild and attack someone but this time, it was attacking me from within. I was able to communicate with Damon in a manner I could not tell, right in the midst of the chaos. “Get..Get me Selene!” I gasped sharply, growling and snarling in between. I threw myself against the walls, flinging and crashing into objects and furniture ferociously. Something I had hidden for years came to the lamplight. Everyone now knows I am a monster. In no time, Selene and Damon rushed in. “What the hell?” I heard Selene, exclaim in shock.

My thoughts, my ability to feel like myself even as my body lay so far away on the other side of reality all comes from my inner sense of self, my core, my soul. Is that all our inner void is, our soul? And if that is true, then the monster that reaches out of me, that has destroyed all of those lives…is me? “Oh gods!” saying my first words since dying, my words drift away. “I am the monster. I was always the monster.” Which means I have the power to control it.

But this dark side that managed to take hold of me and cause me to lash out and do something so savagely violent, it was terrifying. “It’s okay my love, it’s over now” Gunner soothed. He rocked me in his arms as I continued to sob and shiver. I can’t get the image out of my mind. I'm a monster, just like he said I was. “I’m a monster” I wailed.

Couldn't do anything but kneel there and shake. This was what I'd wanted for Rae. The thought cut through the fog. Clear and sharp and horrible. This helpless feeling. This terror. This complete loss of control while strangers clawed at the door and called out promises that sounded like threats. This was what I'd been willing to do to her. What I'd done. "I'm a monster," I whispered. The words scraped my throat. "I'm a monster." The door cracked. Wood splintered. The frame gave way with a sound like breaking bones. The bed shifted. Scraped back another few inches. A gap opened wide enough for faces to peer through.

“No. Not until you tell me everything. I want to help you.” I exhaled deeply, my shoulders dropping in resignation. “The truth,” I repeated. “The truth is... there’s something inside of me, Kaima. A darkness... I don’t really know, but it wants to consume me. It’s not anger, Kaima, it’s not pain, it's something else. Something that doesn’t stop. I am a complete monster.” Her face paled slightly, but she didn’t move.

“Then neither do we.” It wasn’t a vow. It wasn’t comfort. But it was a promise of steel at his side when the storm broke. And in the ruined monastery, with the shadows creeping ever closer, promises were all that remained. That night, the vault’s heartbeat echoed through the mountains — closer than it had ever been. And Daryl woke screaming. His eyes were wide, glowing silver-white, his voice not his own: “It’s coming. It knows where we are.” The monastery shook. Dust fell from the ceiling. The torches all went out at once.

I gradually began to feel an itch in my soul. Following the sensation back home, I realized that the power had been cut because the bill was overdue. Everything inside the walk-in freezer began to thaw. Drawn by the sickly sweet scent, rats and cockroaches poured in through tiny holes in the walls. The cloyingly sweet cake was already devoured, but even more cockroaches and rats were gathering inside. I never knew that dead people could look so horrendous. Actually, I had been hiding a secret from Mom. Dad had met with me in private many times.

I said to myself OMG I am now in trouble how am I supposed keep my lust in check. Damn it now trying to resist the lust and fire within me. please come in i said as he walk in pass me his cologne and his body was so mesmerizing that I stand their by the door for a good three minutes before coming back to my senses and closing the door. I said to myself why did this man had to be so handsome why did I had to have this intense attraction for him.

He finally spoke,his voice filled with indifference. His uncaring attitude shattered something in me. A surge of emotion swam through me, betrayal,heartbreak,rage. I heard several gasps as a sudden light erupted within me,surging through my veins like wildfire.. My body trembled as the sudden change took over me,every muscle twisting and reshaping as power and pain collided. I gasped,my scream shifting into a low growl. When the light faded,I stood there on four legs,although I was smaller than most wolves,my red fur shimmered with an ethereal glow,and my eyes burned with defiance. The crowd stared,And for the first time,I felt whole.
