They quietly entered and closed the door before they followed Blaze who entered the room. Lam had the chance to look around the very elegant and luxurious apartment suited for a young prince before they entered the room which happened to be the prince's bedroom. Lam hid his admiration while he looked around the all-white bedroom that Ace had talked about. It is indeed white, pure, and clean, not to mention its immense elegance. Blaze is obviously studying when they arrived based on the opened books and notes on his study table with a bright study lamp. They helped Ace to lay down on the bed but he suddenly grimaced from the bright light at the ceiling which Blaze hurriedly turned off.

His voice was what made me realise that they were all staring at her, and she was still in a half torn scrap of lace, the coat she ran out of the private room with was draped haphazardly over her shoulders and she was too out of it to even try and cover herself up more. I was suddenly angry for a different reason. Nightingale is mine! No other male should see her like this, too much of her was exposed, it didn’t matter that they were my men and I trust them with my lives, they were still men. A small part of my brain reminded me that they had been in the room when she was stripping for me, and had seen most of her already. But that was different, I hadn’t known it was her. Fuck!

Ninette's POV The Riverside Hotel became my prison. Three weeks of racking up charges on my credit card I couldn't afford, because going back to the apartment felt impossible. My clothes were still there, my whole life packed into that tiny space, but every time I thought about facing it, my chest tightened until I couldn't breathe. My body still remembered that night. The stranger's hands on my skin. The feeling of being worshipped, wanted, seen. Now I lived in silence, no touch, no voice, just the hum of the air conditioning and the distant sound of traffic below.

That is the strangest thing I have ever thought in my life. That familiar itch starts to spread across my neck, down my chest to my stomach. It itches so bad, I pull up my shirt and when I do, I scream out into the empty dark room that is lit only by the moonlight and a single nightlight over by the entrance. Daring to look down again, I see that where I had just scratched, is a gaping wound and there is a maggot crawling out of it. I hear a noise from behind me and when I turn on my heels, I watch as the same man from before stands about a foot taller than I am and is staring right into my eyes. He opens his mouth and states, “You have finally awakened. Good.”

He had told her his house was just a few blocks away and it was true, they were there in a few minutes. His house was a two-story mansion and once they were in, he lifted her in his arms and carried her all the way upstairs, to his room. Most of the night was a blur but Kaitlyn could say boldly that it was the best sex she had ever had, as slutty as that may sound. He was all over her. She was jolted awake the next morning by the sound of her alarm. Following the shock was a terrible headache. She reached for her phone but before she could grab it, someone else did.

There’s a screaming storm surrounding it and flashes of red, demonic lightning. But I see it, clear as day. So cautious, afraid, and hopeful, I reach a hand toward it. I summon Neron, collecting all the power I can. I reach. I imagine killing that pulsing darkness. My hands glow blue and brilliant. And the second I touch it, my brain is filled with screams, a howling storm of rage. And everything goes dark.

Its bloodshot irises narrowed into feral slits, thick, black fur covering its chest and limbs. I nearly shouted but I bit down on my lips to stop myself, hot tears pouring down my face when I imagined what my life would be in the next few minutes to what it was before I came to search for death. This was my end, nothing could save me now. If scraped its claws against the wall when my breath hitched, coming out in short furious pants, “Come out birdie. Come out!” The creature cackled ominously, its voice undulating like demons from one's nightmares, he tsked.

Max and Nora got into another one, while the guards got into the last one. The chauffeurs ignited the cars and they drove. Lily stared out the window and enjoyed the view, the city was beautiful at night. She was amazed by everything they came across that she hadn't seen before, Lily hadn't seen a lot of things before. Axel found her interesting to watch and he decided to stare, he couldn't get tired anyway, he never could. Lily is different, different from every other person he has come across. Her innocence amazes him every time, her way of doing things too included.
