Haunted by Office Things

Haunted by Office Things

"Zoe, it still won't recognize my fingerprint. Sorry to trouble you again." "No problem. We're colleagues. In theory, once it's registered on my end, there shouldn't be an issue. Just keep trying when you can," she said, smiling as she took the drink and fixed my attendance. To withstand the cold, I brought a hat and a thick blanket, wrapping myself tightly at my desk. Anna, who sat next to me, joked, "Emma, you're wrapped up like a burrito. What, are you trying to be the office mascot?"

That Beauty is The Beast

That Beauty is The Beast

What’s more frightening than an orc with huge biceps? Intelligence. This specific orc can talk and understand human language. When it starts to grin, my skin starts to crawl. “So, pretty one, have you come here to offer yourself to me?”

Too Human To Be His

Too Human To Be His

I needed to get that scent as far away from me as possible before I lost my mind completely. After pulling myself together, I headed to the office. On the way, I decided to stop by and visit our oracles. Maybe they could recommend some kind of potion or remedy to help with... whatever the hell this is. They were relatively new members of the pack—even though they were human. But our previous oracle had spoken highly of them, even gone as far as officially passing down her title and trust. I had no reason to doubt her judgment. So I welcomed the newcomers with open arms.

Omega's Redemption: A Slave Turned Luna.

Omega's Redemption: A Slave Turned Luna.

I really wantwd his throat ripped apart so as to stop him from spurting out any other nonsense. I released a deep sigh. This spineless cub had me hooked to a corner here. “Tomorrow, I expect your fellow wretched allies to be here tomorrow and if not, I will go ahead and tear this place to the ground.” I hissed, gesturing at his entire office. Without any other word, I turned around to leave the office. When I didn't see Orice next to me, I turned around, seeing him still glaring at Zandor before turning around and following me.

The Lost Luna: Pregnant for the betraying alpha

The Lost Luna: Pregnant for the betraying alpha

“You are needed there more than you are needed here. Go now.” “Why?” I protested. “You are too ashamed of the coward hiding in your office?” Before Orion could give a response, the office door flung open, revealing Maddox’s undeniable figure. He stood tall, almost matching Orion’s height, his straight shoulders holding the fur coat delicately over his slender figure. His blonde hair wasn’t properly combed and styled like it usually was—it was just rough. His eyes were like wicked shards of blue ice, piercing through mine and out the back of my skull.

The Alpha Human Mate

The Alpha Human Mate

I said smiling. Orlan was puzzled. He didn't expect Scarlett to prefer the work of a cleaner, over the work of a secretary. "You are already a grown-up lady, so at least think like one," Orlan advises, before turning around to make his way inside his office. I gasp in admiration because his office is Damn beautiful. It has a couch, bed, TV, a desk and a table..... It has everything that I had always seen in movies. "Your office is bigger than my entire parent's house." I voice out, before taking my seat on the couch.

The Oracle and the Dragon Prince

The Oracle and the Dragon Prince

Suddenly I hear someone gasping for air, “I wanted to hear my future, but she wouldn’t tell me. She’s an oracle.” “This changes everything,” I hear Richard’s voice in deep thought, “Now I know she will not be going back to her friends. She will marry me. A warlock and an oracle would make a very powerful pair. I could take over the entire dark magic realm.” I start to panic as I hear this. I have to remain unconscious as long as possible, so that I can plan my escape. Just then, I hear both men yell, and I fall into a deep sleep.

The Orphan and the Mythics

The Orphan and the Mythics

I smile as I finish my little speech, only to realize everyone was silent…dead silent, mouths open, shock spread across so many faces in the room. Then the most perfect timing, the doors at the far side of the room open and in strolls Idris, his tall and godly figure striding through all the various people everywhere, straight to my side, a gigantic smug smile on his face. You would think by the look of him, he had planned all of this. My heart starts to skip, as he comes beside me and again I can feel the massive amounts of energy, power and most of all heat radiating off of him. Everyone in the whole places starts to talk at once, some angry, some excited, some complexly dumb founded. I ca

Protected by the bully (#2 in Bully Series)

Protected by the bully (#2 in Bully Series)

Ryley added as the flashback of their confrontation with the Orc replayed in his mind. Flashback... Zander was optimistic. It can be seen on his face. Each step he took reminded him of Reyne. And hopefully this meeting with the creature was going to support him find his mate. "He seems chafed. Be heedful." Ryley instructed, glancing at Zander's palm that pressed on the partition separating them from that beast. No sooner did the threshold set cracked open than their ear drums rumbled with a loud screeching scream. It was the orc. He was caged into iron chains and brutally wounded. The slit he bore on his shoulder was bleeding as though he was recently awarded with that damage.

I have been really enjoying this book. Love the characters. Love the resilience of Zanders mate & her ‘in your face’ attitude. I may be old but I remember the days of school where I was bullied. I’m anxiously waiting for the updates 😃😃

Yay!! I’m very happy with this last chapter, she stood strong and told him to reject her and HE actually said all the right words... so happy he is finally giving them a chance , but if he stays with other girls then I hope she rejects him

Captive Of The Count

Captive Of The Count

His head was raised from the spreadsheet between his hands and he had the meanest scowl on his face. I pushed my way into the office and quietly shut the door behind me, "Nice place." I smiled looking around the room with cream walls, no shelves, or any other piece of furniture. It was just the plush rug beneath my feet and the table and chair at the far end of the room next to the window where Orian was sat, "It is nice."

Love this book! Will their be a book 3 in this series? I sure hope to find out how things will continue to work out for all the characters (I don’t want to give details so not to spoil things for new readers)

This book is a sequel to “The Alpha King’s Rejected Mate” and should be read after the first book. Plot was very interesting and the enemies to lovers vibe was super intense! The book could use proofreading, but overall a great story with a HEA! :)
