The Stepfather's Forbidden Claim

The Stepfather's Forbidden Claim

The glass didn’t shatter with a spectacular ring; it gave way with a dull, wet pop that felt horribly final. The heavy gold band of the Vane crest ring drove straight through the amber interface, the sharp edges of the crystalline display splintering beneath the raw force of my downswing. A violent cascade of blue sparks erupted from the ruined console, casting frantic, erratic shadows across the cedar-paneled walls of the library before the entire dashboard died, plunging the rear of the room into a deep, heavy dark.

THE CEO'S STOLEN SECONDS

THE CEO'S STOLEN SECONDS

Shatter! The glass pane of the abandoned hangars side office exploded inward as Marcus hurled his shoulder against the frame. The sound of shattering glass filled the air and sharp shards skipped across the oil-stained floor. He didn't wait for the dust to clear. He reached through the gap grabbed the manual iron deadbolt and twisted it with a loud snap. The sound echoed through the hangar.

Without My Colored Glass Wings

Without My Colored Glass Wings

He scanned the area if they came across an arcade booth where you could play virtually along the street but for a certain allotted time. They stopped for a while at La Partdita and grabbed some coffee and snacks. Then they proceeded to Mrs. Daetes' office. Mr. Daetes told Melo and his mother to stay in the car and wait for him but Melo insisted that he wanted to see his father’s office. And just as Melo remembered, the skyscraper that almost seemed closest to the clouds. Melo felt hazy due to the pressure but still awed as he stared down the glass windows.

🎶 I'm just avoiding you like broken glass. There are no winners when The sky is cast. 🎶 BROKEN GLASS- SIA It's the third day after my injury. The day I had to get rid of this bandage. I walked down the hallway to the nurse's office and knocked twice on the wooden door. "come in" I heard the tiny voice of miss Joanne say, and I gripped the handle to let myself in. She was busy writing away records with her glasses hanging at the bridge of her nose. She sat at her tiny desk that was always cleared and neat except for the little stethoscope set that sat at the edge of the table that made contact with the wall.

I never realized it said the end....how can it end like that? I really hope it's not the ending....I've been sitting here waiting for more but I just realized it said the end at the bottom and I guess I didn't pay attention to that last time I looked but it stinks!!!!

I absolutely love this book. I actually quit reading another book to finish this one. I could do without the song lyrics in the beginning of the chapters but it's obviously not enough to stop me from enjoying it. I truly hope there is a second book 😊.

‘Till Death Do Us Part

‘Till Death Do Us Part

and with that he hung up the phone A while later I heard something hit my window. I got up and wiped the sleep from my eyes. Then I heard another knock at the window and walked over to it. There was Jay standing outside throwing pencils. “What is it? the 80’s?” I chuckled. Jay smiled, but not the smile I saw yesterday, a different happier smile. “I do think I was born in the wrong generation.” He smiled a genuine smile. “Cmon get out here!” I smiled and climbed through the window.

A Veil of Ash and Glass

A Veil of Ash and Glass

Glass dug in. Her breath tore out of her in uneven gasps. “Enough,” Ricardo said. It wasn’t a reprimand. It was a spell in the shape of a command. The lights flickered back on. The room looked like the aftermath of a storm. Glass glittered on every surface. Curtains flapped in the freezing wind. The once perfect windows were jagged teeth. A hairline crack ran up the wall like a lightning scar. Blood streaked the floor beneath Althea. Nerisa appeared at Ricardo’s shoulder, face white.

Till Divorce Do Us Part

Till Divorce Do Us Part

He poured into two glasses some wine and handed me a glass. One of the men in the city of Paris that I admired a lot was Mr. Silver. We barely got to see each other often, because over the years, he had stopped attending most social functions, and also, our companies didn’t deal on the same thing. However, I had always known that he was a man of integrity and honor, which was why he never really got to the top of the business ladder.

I really think it's hilarious, how everyone believes in Donald, especially Alexa, and the story goes round in circles, the detective is clearly bought but Mark believes him and suspects Alexa, and she doesn't suspect anything hasn't grown at all.

Writing Goddess, you're really good at your craft. I just finished reading your previous novel, Mr. CEO, We're Done! and now this one has me hooked too. I just hope it doesn’t disappoint later. Kudos!

Tangled In Velvet

Tangled In Velvet

THE FINAL PERFORMANCE BEGINS AT MIDNIGHT STAGE: GLASS ROOM PLAYER: WRENLEIGH AUDIENCE: BLACKTHORN OUTCOME: UNKNOWN Dorian stared at the wall like he could burn it down with thought. Penelope’s voice broke the silence. “We have less than six hours.” Isolde whispered, “Then we stop waiting.” The Glass Room. Isolde had never seen it. Only whispers. An urban legend inside Velvet’s most private corridors. A space without shadows. A room where nothing could hide. She stood at its entrance now. No velvet curtains here. No baroque gold. Just white floors and transparent walls.

From Prison To Power: The Ex-Wife's Vengeance

The woman in the glass looked back, her fractured spirit finally knitting together into something sharper, harder, and infinitely more dangerous. "Goodbye, Isabella," I whispered.

HIS POISONOUS POSSESSION

HIS POISONOUS POSSESSION

[Silk Against Glass] The Zero Layer was a house of glass, but it felt like a tomb of ice. In the wake of the drawing-room collision, the air in the estate remained charged with the ozone of Dante’s presence and the lingering, floral poison of Elena Moretti-Vane.
