The stone farmhouse was completely silent. Killian leaned his broad shoulder against the heavy oak doorframe of the library. He crossed his arms over his chest, his pale gray eyes entirely locked on the small figure standing in the center of the massive room. Luna was completely mesmerized. Her delicate fingers reached out, gently tracing the spines of the leather-bound books. It doesn’t take a genius to work out it was probably Ace that did it, or maybe Maddie on his orders though.
