As if she hadn’t shattered everything I thought I could keep in control.

Her name alone made my chest twist painfully.
It’s been days.
Endless, sleepless, punishing days.
I’ve searched every inch of the forest. Torn through abandoned cabins, overturned patrol reports, run myself and every soldier ragged chasing rogue trails and illusions. We’ve followed every whisper, every shattered branch, every fading hint of her scent. I’ve shifted so many times I’ve torn muscle and bone. My claws are cracked, my paws bloodied.
And still—nothing. There was still no sign of her.
