I looked at each of them: at Ronan, whose gaze was a desperate, burning lock on mine; at Finn, who leaned forward slightly; at Bastien, who just watched, steady as a mountain. My o lying fear was betrayal but I was certain Conrad and I had built a lot more together than sharing a betrayal story. “I know you don't trust me Cassian but I will never do anything to harm you or bring shame to this pack. "Dude," Damon said, half-grinning, "I still can't believe that your mate is Caius’s ex mate. I bet he feels jealous at some point." "He made his choice," I shrugged."Selena was chosen by the goddess herself to be my mate. I'm not going to let her go even if he realizes his mistake and tries to make amends."
