Their Untouchable Little Mate

Their Untouchable Little Mate

I couldn't stop thinking about that strange knocking on my door, the way the handle had turned so slowly in the dark, and the weight of that silence in the hallway. But what Cade had shown me in the library was even stranger than the knocking, and it was making my skin crawl even in the heat. The Shadow Wraith book was gone. Cade had pulled me aside into the rows of towering bookshelves, his face looking pale in the torchlight as he told me the news. He mentioned that he had been searching for the book all evening, looking through every shelf and corner where it could have been hidden, but he couldn't find a single trace of it. He had called me over specifically to ask if I had taken it back

Bonded with my ex

Bonded with my ex

Narrator's POV A few years ago, Flashback "The Book of Shadows is what I need to restore me rule over this dimension". "What is this book anyway? " "The Shadow Mythos. Whoever has this book in his possession can conquer the world. The Shadows empowers, sustains and makes everyone bow". Harver didn't understand a word. "The Lioness sent me on a secret mission to help you find a book that might be a myth". "Its not a myth. My grandfather once willed the book".

Fated To The Werewolf Dragon King

Fated To The Werewolf Dragon King

No answer came. After another moment, Adriana shook her head. "I'm imagining things." Even so, she couldn't resist glancing over her shoulder twice before disappearing around the corner. Silence returned. Several minutes passed. Then, a shadow slowly detached itself from the darkness between the towering bookshelves inside the library. It had no clear face. No distinct form. Only two pale eyes glimmered within the darkness. Its gaze rested on the ancient black book. The library remained deathly still. After a long silence, the shadow spoke.

Pregnant For The Cursed Alpha

Pregnant For The Cursed Alpha

The book was a gateway to a realm where love and darkness entwined, and I was willingly ensnared. Page after page, I lost myself in the intricate plot twists and the intensity of the character's emotions. The story was intoxicating, taking me on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. With the little chapters I was able to read, I laughed with the characters, I cried with them, and I felt my heart race with anticipation as their love faced a few obstacles. Unbeknownst to me, the outside world faded into insignificance. The pack house, with its busy corridors and the previous incident, became a distant memory. All that mattered was the world within the book, where passion and darkness coexisted in

Emperor Shadow

Emperor Shadow

Days later… Shadow moved stealthily on the battleship for a few days and when she stepped off the ship and onto the docks of Country C, she could feel the heat of the war, brazing her skin. The sunlight burned her skin and the tight sensation that filled her chest at the sight of the port was astonishing. The harbor was full of life, more people than Shadow had ever seen moving about the sturdy piers, chattering loudly and shouting amongst one another in one official language of the novel.

The Shadow Guard

“Half wolf, half bear, and all Shadow. “Babaloo, is your brother a Shadow?” Shadow asked. “Duh? Of course, he is. Why do you think he’s such an excellent assassin?” He said with pride for his big brother. “Well, shit! I had no idea he was a Shadow.” Shadow frowned. “Not to worry as you spend time and train with more Shadow’s you’ll be able to ID them.” Mimi shrugged. “So, Shadow should we go ahead and have our people start making their way here?” Dakota asked.

Her Enemy, His Curse

Her Enemy, His Curse

A slow release, like it had been holding a breath for centuries and chose now to exhale. And from that breath— Shadows bled upward. Not smoke. Not mist. Shadows. They bent toward us, curious. The threads in my chest burned. “You’re not supposed to be here,” I whispered—not to Lucian, not to Theron. To it. The shadow shifted in answer. My ears popped. My teeth ached. The shape it made was wrong—too tall to be a man, too narrow to be a beast, its edges folding in and out of themselves like pages turning in a book no one was reading.

The Alpha Queen and her Human Mate

The Alpha Queen and her Human Mate

Chapter Thirty-Eight: The Scent in the Wind The frost was sharp underfoot as Raven walked the borders before dawn, the world cloaked in a soft grey hush. Shadow was restless, ears pricked, gold flickering in Raven’s eyes as she inhaled deeply. There. A scent in the wind. Not a rogue. Not the council. Something older. Something was wrong. It smelled of cold metal, charred wood, and iron—a scent that made Shadow’s legs rise and a growl curl in Raven’s throat.

In the Shadow of Lies

In the Shadow of Lies

They easily held her down. Andrew shut his eyes and took a deep breath. At that moment, he finally understood what he truly wanted to protect. The room fell silent. "Still no news of Eleanor?" he asked. When the answer came back negative, Andrew silently turned and ascended the stairs. He opened the door to the master bedroom. The air still carried the scent of Eleanor—his most familiar scent. It was tinged with the refreshing aroma of bay laurel. He approached the bed and softly ran his fingers over the pillow. He could faintly sense her lingering warmth. He carefully picked up a silver wolf hair that had fallen onto the blanket and held it in his palm before gently caressing it with his th

Gifted Shadows

Gifted Shadows

Javi then looked out at the view … there was a breathtaking view from the top of this hill. After a few minutes lost in his thoughts he went to the car and got something. He came back and put the cards in the tin. He then took out a lighter and lit them up. I smiled, feeling like this was the ultimate ending to this chapter. “I was one of her biggest doubters,” Javi said. We watched them burn, and Javi dropped it back in the little hole I had dug, and covered up the ashes.

Loved this story. I wish their was a sequel. I wanted her with Fletch but Javi is just as amazing. Great story. Loved it talked about their hardships. Most importantly, for me, that she was a Black girl (biracial) trying to fit in and go through life.
