He had taken his backpack off and it was laying on the bed. Ben eyed it and I knew he was going for it, so did my mate.

The place wasn’t empty though, Ben was moon walking around with his headphones blasting music in his ears, making him unaware of my entrance. I cover my mouth to stop myself from bursting into laughter when he trips, a part of me was more surprised because Zeke is the one I expect to find doing something like that. He’s the cheerful one of the three, Ben mostly listens to music, hardly uttering a word or involved in some alien space wars with Zeke. Killian on the other hand, he isn’t grumpy, happy or anything…come to think of it, the only emotion he expresses is anger.

“They killed Morgan’s friends just so they could get to me?” I asked, shocked. “Yeah. They were vampires but they fed on animals. They weren’t a threat to humans. Otherwise Luna Morgan wouldn’t have had anything to do with them. And Corey was pretty cool from what I remember. I was just a kid but he wasn’t a bad guy. I saw him around our pack a few times.” Ben explained. I guess shutting Ben out right now wasn’t the smartest thing to do. He definitely knew a lot more than I did and I could take my cue from him. I needed to learn so much about werewolves that I thought my head was going to explode.

Desire coursed through Cindy and she took a step closer. Ben slowly became limp in Nadja's arms and Cindy took a step back. Her hand went over her chest and hoped she wasn't about to watch Ben die. Ben's head fell back limp as his eyes rolled back and the vampire finally let go, allowing Ben's body to fall to the ground.
