The Third World War began on August fifteenth, 2030. It only lasted three days. It was a war that ended with twenty-thousand nuclear warheads and a burning Earth. With over one billion fatalities, the Third World War was labelled the largest global catastrophe since the extinction of the dinosaurs. Another hundred million more died soon after, victims of the swift and deadly killer that was radiation sickness. Worldwide infrastructure failed in less than a day-everything from microchips to national power grids were fried by the blasts.

"It's just… flying that far is gonna take forever. What if we die from the heat before we even get there?" I sighed. "Forget it. Maybe I should just call Raven and try to work with her." Before Blazewing could answer, I picked up my phone and dialed her number. Her voice came sharp and mocking. "What, can't handle the heat anymore? Finally coming to beg me?" I quickly explained, "The temperature's rising all over the world. The glaciers at the South Pole are probably gone by now. You've seen how much it's been raining lately." "So what? What's that got to do with me?" she shot back, totally indifferent.

This was my home for a long time, but I have nothing left here, no friends, no family, Everything swept away within the space of a couple Months. Let me start from the beginning. It is 2027 mid June. Our world has gone into crisis. Wars have been breaking out everywhere. Homes have been bombed, peoples lives lost. History, art, architecture, Everything that has been preserved and kept now lost in a cloud of smoke. This is World War III.

Third Person's POV The Astral Planet is a world where monsters roam freely. A place where they throw the worst of the worse. A complete opposite of the Celestial Planet, which can be described as an ethereal or sacred world. Within its dangerous and toxic territory, there stands its only Kingdom. Where even the meanest monster strays away from this place, making it a safe zone to live. They aren't avoiding it because of the strong energy emitting from the land but rather they are afraid of its ruler, the Dark Queen.

He asks with something in his voice I can't quite identify. "You don't know." I say with a slight chuckle in my voice. "Just pick one." I watch idle as he sifts through all the books until he picks one. House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J Maas. "That is one of my favourite books. Although I might just be biased because I love her writing." I lean back in the chair with a satisfied look on my face. "What makes you love someone's writing?" He sits back in his chair and looks at me curiously.

His wife trailed behind him, wrapped in jewel and a rigid kind of grace. "Congratulations," he said clasping Darrell's hand with both of his. "A union like this gives our kingdom hope." I smiled, "We're honored." "We're relieved," Reeve corrected. "We doubted this would happen. But now we can all rest easy after the reunion of war giants." Darrell's jaw clenched, "The unrest will be over before you know it." Reeve chuckled, "Ah, always the soldier. May your house be strong and your heirs plenty."

Bella Who would’ve thought that “us against the world” would quickly turn into “me against the world, and against the memory you have now lost”? It will be the biggest lie of mine if I say that none of this affects me, that I have faith in our love and that you will remember me in no time. But I would just keep on pretending, not until the negativity inside me melt away. By the time I was walking straight into your room, hospital corridors echoed with the hurried footsteps of anxious visitors and the hushed whispers of worried families. Amongst them, is me, and my heavy heart filled with anticipation.

Alexander offered. "Yes, please." I whispered to him. I really wanted to know more about this place. He cleared his throat, opening his mouth to give me the story. "Centuries ago, there was a massive war that carried out within the human race. This war was known worldwide, even without the fancy smartphones they have now. There were two sides, and people were forced to fight for a side. You either fought for the East or the West side. Nobody really knew what caused the conflict, but the leaders of the war used to be close before it all happened. When the truth came out, most people sided with the West side." Alexander said.

I also prayed earnestly that he didn’t forget me here. I spotted a bookshelf at the far end of the room and decided to look through it in hopes of finding something to read. The majority of the books were about werewolves and the pack’s history. There were also books about politics, war, and governance. I would have loved to pick up the book that contained information on all members of the Crescent Moon Pack, but I decided against it. It would seem like snooping. I finally settled on a book titled ‘The Art of War.’ Not that I was a fan of violence but I was curious to know why the author had referred to war as an art. It was such a controversial claim.
