The world I know of

The world I know of

’ he couldn’t make sense of anything else. Asher scanned the rest of the frame for any other writings, he found the only other one at the top of the frame rightunder the carving of a tree whose branches ran across the whole frame, intertwining with other carvings. He squinted at it trying to make out the words. He had to leave to grab a flashlight then come back. He pointed the light at the words, they read; ‘Iwlenfy iy fhi dgpeab’, “The Dimension Of Dreams” He said out in english. A sudden bout of dizziness hit and he grabbed his head with his left hand as he was still holding onto the flashlight.

World of Tomorrow

World of Tomorrow

“It will be much like it was at the World’s Fair opening, Evelyn. Simply follow my lead. Can you do that?” Evelyn’s pulse kicked up a notch. Their trip to the World’s Fair had been like visiting an alternate existence. It went beyond simply politely 'familiar'. That had been an imaginary World of Tomorrow where the natural hierarchy and boundaries of wealth and social status had been erased, like the idealized Democracity or the egalitarian Futurama. Where people attracted to one another were free to explore that gift in each other's company without question.

I've barely been able to put this story down. I absolutely love it. I love how descriptive the story is. And it has made me want to have been able to go to that World's Fair. It is a beautiful love story and I can't wait to finish it.

I am only to Chapter 22, but this book is Amazing so far and by far my favorite. I love historical fiction and this piece is a gem. I read the Author's book about Grace and Juliet and just had to jump right into this one as some characters are the same.

A Bear's World

A Bear's World

More babies meant more room, more land, more packhouses, and family homes. The second meeting was about trainings and warriors. Training needed to be looked at, updated, taught to kids in Jr High so they can help themselves. Our warriors needed to be trained more often and better. They were amazing now but the fights didn't seem to let up. There were always small pockets of fighting popping up across our lands and even on human only soil.

The Beginning of A New World

The Beginning of A New World

The hall seemed to have been carved out of wood with a fountain in the middle and some strange little birds flying around in the air. There were a lot of other women in the same dressing as the lady leading Sheng Chen and the party, either just standing or leading other groups of people to some places. They made their way to the other side and entered another room. It was much smaller in comparison with some strange marking in the middle of it. On the right side, there was another lady who waved at the party as they entered. She was standing in front of a desk with some papers on it. Everyone moved towards the table when they heard the second woman speak. "Hello everyone. My name is Tsun

Two different worlds

Two different worlds

I rolled my eyes inwardly at his words “Yeah, baby sister…’ I repeated while he got comfortable. "Let's come back to earth, I saw the book you were reading before I arrived." "What? Did you..." "Relax! I know you must have a lot of suitors now, and concerning the changes, you are having on your body, you will become curious but it's bad to read stuff about boys, and relationships, especially the type that have strong erotic scenes." I felt so embarrassed that, he had to see that scene where the bad boy was having intercourse with his innocent girl, although the book wasn't all that bad most people judge a book by its cover.

ME, THE WORLD AND YOU

ME, THE WORLD AND YOU

The clear voice rang out quickly, she took a deep breath and added: "Tell me, what are you going to do to help me get back to the real world, and what do I need to do next?" The other side did not seem to be surprised at Adela's quick answer, he smiled lightly: "In front of you is the setup and operation of this world. Its purpose is...to help you get through. five random worlds to return to reality." "Five random worlds?" Adela looked at the white screen in front of her eyes that was lit up with words like a computer screen, she bewilderedly asked if it was not because she was startled to find that this world was actually created because of her. Because she or not is no longer important? Wh

New World Order

New World Order

There was no place for unforgiveness. “Do you think the political mayhem triggered the economic breakdown that resulted in the war?” Napoleon asked. “You better ask Isaac about it. Your brother knew everything even before I told you.” “So, Isaac told you about this? And he never even confided in me.” “Isaac shared his knowledge in chaos theory twice.” “A physics concept paired with world war 3?” “He predicted the New World Order in less than six months, and now it is happening." "My brother thinks about the New World Order. What is Harvard teaching my younger brother? Are they nuts?"

Bookworm Little.

Bookworm Little.

Kennedy POV. The weather was bad, but I needed to get that new book, it's Robert birthday gift, who'd knew a grown up man would kill for the newest werewolf love book. I got into my car, drove carefully toward the local book store, they had the new book reserved for me. It was supposed to one quick drive, until I walked into the library. A girl was sitting on a bean bag, her blond hair was covering her eyes with overgrown bangs, she tried to huff them away from her face but to no use. She looked young, maybe she's just here with her parents, looking down at the book she had in her hands it was a kids story. Does she read for the local kids? Or is it just for her?

"Youth" Store!

"Youth" Store!

Only the top of each car was engraved with a number, which looked like the year of birth. 1781, 1782, 1827, 1828, 1845, 1846, 1879, 1880,… Rosabella never thought there would be a place like this in New London where she works and lives. "Here, do you sell time?" Rosabella asked quietly. If possible, she'd like to buy it, and she'd like to buy back her youth years, the time Louis didn't belong to anyone else, just her upper-class male student, in her eyes, alone.
