Triple Temptation
Silas wheezed, trying to drive his elbow into Ash’s ribs.
Ash didn't flinch at the blow. He didn't even seem to feel it. He reached out with his other hand and grabbed a jagged shard of ice that had fallen from the ceiling—a long, wicked spike that glittered like a diamond. With a single, fluid motion, he drove the spike through Silas’s chest.
"Ash, no!" Rhea screamed.
The sound of the ice piercing flesh was wet and final. Silas gasped, his eyes flying open as he was pinned against the sapphire pillar. The ice spike went through his heart and deep into the pillar behind him, anchoring him to the cathedral itself.
