She pants and was about to fall when suddenly, a arm pulled her and she was wrapped into a safe space. Katrina did not hesitate to grip onto him, trembling. She buried her head against his chest, shutting her eyes tight, inhaling his cologne.

I hold out my hand for him to shake. He looks down at my hand with surprise, then shakes his head with amusement and opens his arms out wide, though his jaw looks strained for some reason. Nevertheless, my smile widens as I step into his arms and give him the tightest hug I can manage. He chuckles into my hair and gives me a strong, warm hug.

“Come on.” He leaned forward and hugged me. His arms wrapped tightly around my waist, his head resting gently against my stomach like a man trying to ground himself in something real. The hug was better than the one we had outside. Fiercer. The warmth seeping from his body and into mine was everything as I leaned deeper into the hug, wrapping my arms around his shoulders, one hand stroking the back of his head, the other playing absently with the beads in his cornrows. It was just a hug but it felt very intimate already.

I have to. His hug on me tightened. For a second, his hug scared me. It was as if he knows that his answer will scar me, that it will make me let go of him that's why he have to tighten it, so I won't be able to get away. "No." He whispered. "Not ever, baby. I will never do that to you."

Sebastian's arms tightened around us, holding us close as if he never wanted to let us go. "There's no way I'm missing out on this family hug," Clark declared, his voice filled with a playful enthusiasm, before another pair of strong, muscular arms wrapped around us, enveloping us in a warm, cozy cocoon. I felt the gentle pressure of his embrace as he squeezed us tightly, his chest pressing against my back.

I slowly walk over to Jason and give him a sideways hug. "You call that a hug sweety?!!" I hear Jared laughing and mocking me, " Squeeze the life out of that motherf.. - I mean Jason…". I look over to Jason again , and I see him with arms stretched out. I jump on him like I did Jared , but this hug - it felt different. Jared hug was bubbly , giggly and playful - Jason's hug was intimate , filled with love and passion. It felt as if it had been hours that he had been hugging but honestly it was merely seconds.

And now he’s about to embark on a fast learning curve. I dive in for a hug without saying anything and he wraps his huge, strong arms around me, pulling me in tight. It takes everything in me not to break down and cry. His well-made suit jacket is polished and stiff against my cheek, so unlike everything in this apartment, where even the walls seem to droop and sag.

I was still wondering when he continued pulling my body tighter in a hug. He might possibly suffocate me. I wrapped my finger around his stomach and path his huge back repeatedly. I just noticed how flat his stomach was.

I hesitated before I went for a hug, friends could still hug, right? He pulled into his embrace and all that warmth on the inside came to the surface. I smelled his familiar scent, it was like a welcome home parade, it pulled me in. I pressed into his arms. Too tight for friends, my brain reminded me but for once I ignored it. I hugged tighter.
