He stopped at the page where a peculiar murder took place and he began to read out loud and clear. He checked his wristwatch and realized it was 8pm, he wished he had arrived earlier. He would only spend two hours with Anita else he returned home late. Emilia was becoming suspicious.

I turn back around to continue flipping the book’s pages. I stand up from my chair when I feel famish now. I check for the time on my phone and notice that is already twelve-one. I took a deep breath while shaking my head. Did not know that time flies so fast whenever you are reading a good book. Well, time isn’t wasted anyway if I learn something from the book.

Exactly what I had spent hours repeating to myself. I pull the last book with the title Secrets of Time from the shelf. My hand gripped the book tighter as it was the same book Traian had in his home. I went through its pages. And after 30 minutes, I felt like I was reading the first book I picked in this room when I already read and browsed almost 15 books. My legs started to quiver and I sank to the ground, feeling as though my energy had left my body. The book dropped with a loud thud.

However, it seemed that the book always managed to place a new page at the back as soon as I finished reading one page because I’d never gotten through the book despite the five hours of sleep that I’d foregone.
