Not that it would have even mattered anymore. This wasn't possible. There was no realm of possibility where I had hit my head and travelled back in time. Time travel wasn't a thing. It was a cool and quirky idea that made for fun and interesting movies. But it was fantasy. Sci-fi. There was no proven instance where it had ever actually happened.

I never thought I would live in a fantasy setting which I would just normally see in movies. "It's a teleportation mystical circle. Step inside. Traveling through teleportation circles like this makes everything faster such that a day's worth of travel could be reduced to minutes to a few hours — and the greatest advantage is that we would not need to spend energy by walking! Now, hop in. Don't worry about your limbs, they will come back to normal after being chopped tempora—" Gasp. "Rawr!" "Uwaahhhh!"

"She said it will glow and vibrate." "Yes, it is a one-way portal to this specific time. It will create one if you want to come back from the twenty-first century," he looked at it with curiosity. "How do I go back?" "I don't know," he shrugged, "Maybe you can go back as Allena." "Does time run faster here than in Chicago?" "Yes. If you go to the Stone Age, it runs even faster." "Selma told me about druids living a longer life by going back in time. But won't they age faster there?"

I asked, staring into her eyes. Raven nodded once. Then she stood in the center of the hallway, holding each guard’s hands. “Lance, Leila, hold our hands and create a circle.” We did as she said. “Hold on and do not let go! We’ll be traveling through the Space-Time Continuum.” I had no idea what that was, but I nodded. Then again, there was still a lot about our world that I didn’t know. “Ad filios nos transfer!” Suddenly, we were traveling through a transparent tunnel, as dark matter and stars rushed past, the sound deafening as we zoomed through, moving without being moved, until we came to a stop in front of the children.

“For goodness’ sake, we’re in Paranormal High! You’re a vampire who turns into a bat and drinks blood. Scott breaths fire when he is having a bad day. Kaid turns in a giant wolf man. Literally everything here is governed by magic—and suddenly you believe in science?” “Sorry, but... time travel just isn’t the same as fireballs. Even if it was real, it’d require a ton of mana, which you don’t have. I mean, you could hardly stay conscious after pulsing time for a few seconds. Remember? You pass out cold every time.” “I’m a chronokeeper,” I said. “What do you think that means.” She hesitated. “But it’s the truth,” I insisted, my voice rising. Desperation clawed at me. I wanted to scream about th

I wandered around the place which strangely seemed like Olympus, but it wasn't Olympus. Have I travelled backwards in time? Shut up mind! You always say the worst possible things. The people around me looked at me weirdly. I said that out loud didn’t I? Stupid, stupid me. These people were still staring. It was creepy and they were all wearing clothes which was outdated in fashion world. That’s exactly how Luke says it. I bothered to cross check the quantity of Novanium. How could I be so stupid and impulsive? I rushed

“Yes,” Drake nods. “As descendants of the first vampire, we have the ability to master time travel through specific portals around the world. I did so by the age of fifteen. “I travelled all through time, meeting weird and wonderful people.
