Titus, who had been standing in the back with Sarah, walked forward slowly.
"You made a mistake," Kaelen said to him. "But you fixed it. I name you Head of Intelligence. Because you know the cost of secrets."
Titus fell to his knees, weeping. "Thank you, Alpha."
Kaelen turned to me. He took both my hands.
"And you," he said softly, so only I could hear. "What is your title, my love?"
"I don't need a title," I said, looking out at the sea of faces, Rogues and soldiers, mixed together, laughing and cheering. I saw Jinx weaving through the legs of the guards. I saw my father shaking hands with an old Rogue elder.
