"I present to you, your new leader. My joy and pride..." Cole was already on his way to the podium, where his father stands. "Tobias Ragewarden. As you would commonly address him... Toby, Come up here son." Equally stunned by the announcement as Toby climbs up, Cole's face literally dropped. Luckily it was dark to were he stands, or he would've shamed himself even more. He stepped back and bump on some fellow assassins.

I could almost see the steam coming out of his ears. *It’s bullet proof* *You didn’t know this before?* Tobias snapped his head around to me and glared at me with his piercing black eyes. *I haven’t exactly had time to test all my powers* He huffed and turned back to Trevor. *Oh Goddess*

“I ruined your life.” Tobias sits up, his shoulder rests against the headboard as he faces me and shakes his head. “You have done no such thing, baby,” he hums in a gentle voice as he wipes my tears with the pad of his thumb. “I knew what I was doing, and if given the chance, I’d do it all over again. I’m just sorry that you were exposed to Mattys’ cruel abuse. No man is entitled to play God, taking what he wants when he wants without conviction.”

I answered cursley. "Alpha Tyler. This is Tobias. I am the head warrior at Blood River pack. We met at the party." He says. "I remember you. You're the one that trained Tessa. What do you want?" I asked. "Matthias is using Rogues to do his dirty work." Tobias told me. "What?" I asked confused. "He's using Rogues to do his dirty work. They are hitting you before you have a chance to hit us. They are attacking you tomorrow at sunrise. Their coming in from the East. You need to be ready." Tobias explained.

So, he unsheathed his blade and chose to save her without a shred of hesitation. He was so furious that he transformed and viciously beat the rogues back. It was only after he slaughtered every single rogue around her that he heard the servant scream, "Cassandra is about to die!" Tobias snapped back to his senses and dragged me out of the rogues who'd gotten me in their clutches. When he saw how much blood I'd lost, he growled angrily, "Why didn't you call for help? Are you seriously not going to call for me for help even if you're being violated?"

I pull my legs up, wrapping my arms around my knees and staring steadily at the blank television screen. “Does the tv work?” I ask, my voice shaking a little despite myself. “I…don’t know…” Roger replies, his tone curious. “Do you want me to try it?” “Mmmhmm!” I say, my hum an octave higher than it would usually be. Slowly, Roger stands up and moves to the TV, treating me to the opportunity to scan the broad muscles of his back, which sweep downward to a trim waist. He even has two little dimples on either side of his spine right above his perfect ass…

Gedoni sprang up, “I SAID NO! I am the leader of this coup and I get to decide on who lives and who dies and for now, Cyrus is still of value to me so he is to be left alone. Until I say so.” Tobias threw his head backward and laughed so hard. He had this signature laughter that was easily recognizable by anyone who had heard it before. It wasn’t recognizable because of the humor it held but rather, the laugh could easily be spotted because of the element of danger that it carried with it. Tobias wasn’t a man that anyone would want to get into a fight with, he was ruthless with people’s lives, humans, or werewolves. “Did you just call yourself the leader?” Tobias challenged Gedoni.

Tobias’s voice was quiet, final, and bitter. “It always was.”

ADAM VAUGH I first open an eye and after a few seconds the other one, the lights bother me, my head throbs as if a heavy metal band was playing an inferno guitar solo on my temple. I’ll never drink like this again, getting wasted definitely doesn’t agree with me, I spend thirty five years without getting drunk once and now I can figure out the real motive: I’m an intelligent guy, I was right in being sober.
