Two policemen dragged Rosa and Martin over. Both of them had never seen such a spectacle before. They were so frightened that they came close to peeing their pants. "Isn't that Mrs. Ripley's parents?" Tobias explained, "These people aren't my wife's biological parents at all." Then, he turned to them and said, "I can consider letting you two off easy if you tell the truth now." Martin was seized with such fear that his legs were shaking. Even Rosa was also very frightened.

Rory stared at him like he had grown five different heads. “What?” “And also, you were on top of her…” He stepped dangerously close to him, looking up at him. His eyes cleared with something he was familiar with. “What? Is she your girlfriend?” The guy’s eyes widened a bit, looking down at his swirling champagne, before he dangerously gulped it down, scorching his throat. “Well now, wouldn’t you like to know…” He trailed off. “I am Toby. Toby Armstrong.” “I am Rory. Rory Thatcher.” His eyes rolled a bit. Left, right, and left. “Rory… Rory… Rory Thatcher. That sounds awfully familiar.”

“No. It’s just… everyone has a role here. Rowan protects, Kevin plans, Elias heals, Cassian commands, Irene… well, she’s the reason we all breathe easier. And I… I just sit around making jokes and eating bread.” Elias nudges him gently. “That’s an important service.” “I’m serious,” Tobias says, still smiling but with an ache behind it. “I want to help. I want to do something real. Give me a task. Anything.” For a moment, silence settles around the table. Then Kevin speaks first, thoughtful as always. “What would you like to do?” he asks. “Something physical? Mental? Dangerous?” Tobias shrugs. “Something that matters. I’m not much of a fighter, and the only thing I’ve ever grown is a beard.”

my dad says as thomas sits on the other side of ren. “How far did he get before we arrived?” he says with a fake smile. “That you wanted to maybe join our pack” The man just nods. “So tell me a little bit about yourself,” my father says, crossing his arms over his chest. “Well im from a pack up north we were overrun by rogues most or all of my pack are dead or missing the ones that i escaped with i'm not sure what happened to them we split up, we had a plan to meet here at this pack…my name is tobias” he says sitting down in the chair a crossed from us. My nods thinking about what he has said.

Rosie smiles at him and shakes her head, “It’s been so long since I lost him, over a hundred years ago now, it’s still painful some days. But it’s nice to talk about him. Lottie finds it dull now. She knew him too, of course, being my twin sister. But she tires of my talking of him.” Greyson nods and leans into Seb’s shoulder. “Tobias was a beautiful man, a human. He had long, blonde, curly hair and wore those flowy poet shirts and tight trousers. He was a woman’s man.” Greyson smiles, “Ooh, a dreamboat.” Seb smacks him in the arm and he giggles, Rosie nods wistfully,

“Tobias, welcome. Please sit. I'm so sorry for calling you back here after yesterday. I just remembered that I had to ask you something urgently.” He sat down across from me and smiled at Lana who seemed to have taken interest in his face. “She’s really beautiful. You have a lovely daughter.” Lana smiled when I looked at her. “Do you like kids, Tobias?” “Of course, I have a kid of my own.” I'd completely forgotten about that. “So you would have definitely had another if your wife didn't go missing?” He laughed. ”She wasn't my wife. She was my girlfriend and yes, I wouldn't have minded another child.”

I jump in fright as ice cold water runs over me, I winced because of the contact of water and my wounds. After some minutes she turned it off. The water entering the drainage under the chair was colored red. I glared at Tobias, " What? Wanna fight me?" He asked " I would love to but I'm not sure you would survive and I'm not prepared to go to trial for murder" I said, he growled at me " Are you calling me weak, rogue?"" I didn't say that...but that works too" I grinned.

I tried to stand again and grunted with the excruciating pain. “Little One” a voice called from the other side of one of the cabins. I whipped my head in the direction the voice came from and squinted. The morning sun was starting to brighten up the sky, which helped me spot a pair of legs lying on the ground around the corner. It was the gigantic pair of bare feet that made it click. Tobias. What is he still doing over there? Roe said he was hurt, why wasn’t he taken to get help? I whipped my gaze back to Gunner who was dealing magical blow for blow with Whiskey. He appeared to be handling himself fine, for the moment at least. But it wouldn’t last. He is strong and determined, but he isn’t

With the wind on my side, my paws barely met the ground as I flew towards Toby. My eyes widened when I saw Toby swinging the rogue by its neck with his massive jaws. I slowed when I heard his neck snapped and then Toby threw his dead body at the side. “No need to worry about me, Gus. The Tobester can handle himself.” Toby puffed his chest and patted over to me proudly. “OK, but you're still a loser,” I snickered. “You know I would beat you if that filthy rogue didn't attack me,” he boasted.

“I’m just beginning.” Then he dropped to one knee, slammed his palm against the ground—and the earth shook. A ring of fire exploded outward, engulfing Harrow. The scream didn’t last long. But neither did the light in Tobias’s eyes. He collapsed forward. I ran to him. “Tobias!” He looked up at me, blood trailing from his mouth. “It had to be done,” he whispered. “No,” I said, shaking him. “We could’ve saved you—” “Too late,” he wheezed. “Listen.”
