Irene returned to the mansion after leaving Dr. Kelly's house, and she nestled on the couch, spacing out. She was wondering if she should tell Sheryl about Lionel. After all, they did live under one roof over two decades as spouses. In fact, she felt that Sheryl had a right to know. As she took her phone from her pocket to make the call, it started to vibrate. It was a video from Sheryl, along with two text messages. In the video, Tommy was wearing a onesie. His hair had grown out with a healthy black hue, and his little eyes were darting everywhere as he looked around—an adorable sight.

“Hey, is it safe to plan our little celebration for beginning our second year at college? Or do we have to wait a little while longer?” From the other side of Shane, Dee peeks around Shane’s chest and looks at me. A faint frown decorates her face. “Yeah. Can we finally go? I really want to go there, and it is killing me that everyone else has gone, but not us.” I turn towards my other side, where Tommy is walking. He stares back at me with a blank look on his face. I’m going to take a wild guess that he isn’t quite ready, but we have to start taking baby steps to get him back on track.

Upon seeing her call, Tommy tensed up and hurriedly pushed Sherry away. “Sher, I need to take this call.” Sherry was aware that Tommy had a girlfriend, so she playfully held onto his hand. “Haven’t you broken up with her yet? You should make it clear. Otherwise, what am I to you? Tom, my father said that if you stay with me, you’ll benefit a lot in the future.” Tommy looked a bit embarrassed, especially with Selina nearby. He did not want to be seen as someone who clung to the wealthy.

8:30 pm "Hello?" Kaine picks up his phone "Hey, it's Tommy, can you please come down here something's wrong?" Kaine panics "wha- what's wrong?" His dad says. Little Tommy reaches the shore with a grin and a wave washes over him. Soaked. Water drips from his silk hair down to his khaki shorts. “Yeahhhhh..” his soft voice dances with excitement. A spark ignites in Leo’s eyes as he watches the clueless young fella. Little Tommy begins to cross the shallow water to a deeper part. “Get back!” Leo removes his shoes and sprints towards him. With one lift his strong hands pull him out of the water.
