I've always wanted to dance to this song with him, especially during this holiday season but he's never been interested. The song was interrupted by a notification and I wiped my hands on a towel as I picked up the phone. A smile formed on my face and my sour mood was immediately replaced by excitement. I had successfully booked us a beautiful spot on the largest cruise ship in Toronto for a month! Jax had always wanted to spend his holidays on a cruise ship like this one and I made sure that his wish came to pass this year. Yes, I'm crazy, I used my whole year's savings just for this. But who cares? Love is crazy, isn't it?

Melody smiled, taking a sip from her mug. Tara chuckled. “I think your excitement is rubbing off on me.” By late morning, they were in Tara’s car, music playing softly as they drove through town, singing along, dear senor Santa clause by Jim Reeves. Christmas decorations lined the streets, garlands, lights, oversized bows tied around lampposts. The air was warm, strangely so for the season, but no one seemed to mind. They parked near a shopping district and wandered on foot, stopping to admire window displays filled with ornaments, fake snow, and mannequins dressed in festive outfits. They were going to shop for a tree together.

A Gift for the Reader A Christmas Story-Ethan and Brynne's Very First Meeting 24 December 2023 London The street was remarkably sparse considering it was Christmas Eve. Probably because it was so damn freezing cold outside people were smart enough to stay in. It was totally clichéd to be shopping for a gift at this late minute, but here I was pushing my way through the doors of Harrods in hopes of something really perfect for my aunt Marie. I knew I'd better get my ass in gear too, because I would be spending the day with her tomorrow and had nothing to show up with!

"You are so funny, K! You know how Invisible I am! No one could ever drag me down unless they hide all the twinkies and breads in the world in their pockets but hey! Guess what? It's the Christmas! I have my people scattered everywhere!" "Yeah, so what's the reason you brought me in this awful place?" "Well aside from I know you're in need of women to give you a head and good t*tty f*ck, I'm here to make a negotiation again. I heard that you're planning on taking girls from Philly, care to share them to me?" Mr. Christmas wiggled his eyebrows and lit up a cigar. "You want some, K?" "No, thank you." "Alright, your loss. Anyway, what? Share your girls to me? Another auction at Vegas maybe?"

she finally admitted. Mariah blinked. "Going where?" Laila shot her a look. "Don't play dumb. You know where." Mariah's mouth slowly spread into a grin. "Ohhh. So y'all are really going to Jordan's place tomorrow." Laila's shoulders rose. "Yes." Amelia's expression softened, her voice gentle. "Christmas Eve." "Christmas Eve," Laila echoed, like the words tasted strange. Mariah kicked one heel against the comforter. "Okay. That's kind of… a lot."

He took her hand gingerly and drew her closer. "You know what? Let's stop by the market before you go home. You can pick out three fireworks, and I'll set them off along with the others my parents have prepared. A lot of people celebrate on Christmas morning with fireworks. At least that way, you'd know which ones are from my place." "I like that, but what if I choose one that others have?" "True. We'll give it a shot. We can ask for the fireworks that aren't as popular as the others."

THE NEXT MORNING, I work out for two hours before showering and heading to the tavern at eleven. The first thing I notice is the transformation the place has gone through. Christmas decorations are everywhere. An enormous decorated tree stands in an alcove by the fireplace. It depresses me. Christmas always depresses me.

"I forgot that Aunt Hestia's flight is tomorrow! I haven't packed anything yet." Xander grabbed her hand. "What do you need to pack?" "Christmas is tomorrow, and I haven't bought anything." "The housekeeper will do it." "It's not the same. It's always different when you put in effort." Grace rushed, pulling him up, insisting on buying gifts at the supermarket. They arrived at a luxurious mall. Although there weren't many people, quite a few like them came to do some last-minute shopping as Christmas approached. Grace suddenly felt cheeky and insisted on sitting in the shopping cart while Xander pushed, her legs swinging.

"You shouldn't. Lana is absolutely fine, nothing is going to happen to her so stop worrying dear" "I hope so. When is her Christmas party coming up" "Its on the 25th by 12 noon" First lady Samantha said, giving her husband a gentle smile. "I'll have to double the security at the venue, I wouldn't want there to be any trouble" "There won't be any problem Freddie, you worry too much" "She's our only child Sam, I've got to protect her with everything I have" the President said, lightly tapping his fingers on the table.
