Kisah seorang pelayan dan seorang Nyonya yang diteror oleh makhluk yang tidak kasat mata, membuat sang pelayan mencari jalan keluar menyelamatkan majikannya. Berlanjut dengan kisah penghuni sebelumnya yang mengalami teror dengan berusaha melawan. Kemudian mundur lima belas tahun tentang kisah pemilik asal rumah kontrakan , dan sebab terjadinya teror oleh makhluk penunggu rumah itu.

Davin mahasiswa kedokteran, dijadikan bahan taruhan oleh sahabatnya sendiri yang bernama Alan. Karena taruhan itu, Davin dituduh sebagai pengedar obat terlarang. Beasiswanya dicabut, dikeluarkan dari sekolah, bahkan dijauhi oleh teman-temannya. Parahnya lagi, ayahnya yang sudah sakit-sakitan mengalami serangan jantung mendadak kala mendengar berita itu. Davin shock bukan main, dia kehilangan semua dan sebatang kara dalam waktu sekejap. Dendam pun tumbuh di hatinya. Davin bertemu orang baik, hingga dirinya disekolahkan kembali di luar negeri. Saat kembali, ia menjadi dokter spesialis jantung yang sangat hebat. Dia mulai melakukan rencana balas dendamnya, seperti merebut pekerjaan Alan, mencuri semua perhatian yang selama ini ditujukan untuk Alan sebagai dokter terbaik. Hingga bahkan, Davin menggoda calon istri Alan agar meninggalkan lelaki itu. Tentu saja Davin semakin membabi buta balas dendam.
