Of course, when a king requests something from you, a regular guy, you don't deny him. “Urien, Roger, out of the mat,” King Dominic said, and they stepped out of the mat. The dragon, Urien, looked at me. “Don´t be afraid, let your demon guide you…” He patted my back, and I gasped. She was an honorary cat and, I suspected, a little in love with Rafe. My entire harem would work out with me in the mornings. We got up early every day for sparring, running, and some other exercises for muscle building. In the evenings they would train together while I was working with Poppy to get Anders’ educated and trained. His tailwork was improving. There was a workshop on the property where we practiced. It was a rule among my people that only full blooded demons were permitted to witness training. There was another type of training for mixed demons. I hated it, but I was supposed to be teaching him in the traditional fashion

“Can I dig my nails into your skin? Claw you? Or maybe… I can tear you up and eat you!” “Demon…” she muttered, her nostrils flaring. How did he manage to repel a blessed arrow? No one, no demon has ever done that. “I’m not interested in fighting with a weak priestess. I have what I came for.” He flashed her a charming smile which Clairra hated. “You ask who I am, I am the Demon King. It’s disheartening to meet your acquaintance with an arrow, priestess. We shall meet again.” A few steps back in the shadow and the Demon King had disappeared, leaving Clairra more shocked than ever. She didn’t even know she was holding her breath until she fell to her knees, her bow down on the ground.

Dad replies in a calm tone this time “Look, I am not trying to get into both of your ways because I have already got my hands full and other daughter to look after for since she is going crazy after finding out that her mate is a vampire hunter and our worst enemy.” “Fine, I understand but we are talking about this later.” Zach snaps not bothering to even glance at me this time. Oh my God! This is not good. I have made the demon king angry. Not angry but furious who looks like he is ready to kill. I was hungry and my throat was feeling dry, very dry. I need blood. The eyelids were stitched, which gave the man the villainy look he loved. Damon didn’t hear anything… or pretended he didn’t. It took a nudge from Anthony to get him back into reality again. He scanned the room, as if his spirit has only gone back to his body after an unplanned astral projection. “What?” Asher frowned. Seriously, the king didn’t hear nor listened to what he said? It’s like he’s been talking for half an hour only for that to be in vain. “I’ll explain everything to you later, my king. For now, shall we proceed with Gavin’s plans on enhanced trainings?”

He smiled at us and stuck out his tongue with a very sharp tip. “Just get straight to the fight. We don’t have time for a tea session with a filthy demon like you,” Acanta firmly blurted out. We were all surprised by what Acanta said and her sudden change of behavior. “Young lady, you are too brave to say such things to a demon king like me. I am Belphegor, by the way, the Demon King of Hell in charge of sloth or indolence. Unity via surveillance is the harmony I seek. While I push buttons and flip levers, keep an eye on the crowd.
