He was retouching the style of his hair as he waited for Paige. That was when a car pulled up in front of him and Paige walking out of the building. . "Paige, you're leaving this early?" Zane asked her. Paige shoved her hair to the back of her ear and nodded. "I told you that I was leaving... Argh, You weren't listening to me last night. Well, I'm going on a business meeting with my boss. I'll be back late" she said and was heading to Nate's car but Zane pulled her back.

“That is why I'm your friend.” Paige had a reassuring smile on her face; she didn’t want Crystal to worry about her. She dipped the cloth into the bowl of warm water while Crystal took off her bra; she stared in the direction of the door. “I turned on the lock, don’t worry no one can get in.” Paige stated confidently and that was the only time, Crystal was now able to relax. She squeezed the cloth and used it to scrub on Crystal’s chest, her hands running along the scars, on her chest and her belly as she cleaned her up.

Her face turned pale and she looked around like a scared little cat, eyes darting at the people walking by. “Keep your voice down,” she whispered, trying to yank her arm away. I tightened my grip and barked, “You fool! You really thought you could pull a fast one on me? Buying the food company? Sending a truck full of dirt to feed the poor? Making me look like a joke in front of the entire pack?” Paige's lips trembled for a second, then her expression turned to stone. She snatched her arm away and stepped back, standing tall with her chin raised.

" My heart felt heavy. What was he talking about? Had he been reborn, just like me? Suddenly, a weak voice came from behind. Sheila Baker entered, her eyes red and teary. She whispered between sobs, "Mr. Lewis!" Elliot saw her and quickly moved away from me to rush over to her side. "Shouldn't you be resting? Why are you here?" Sheila looked up, her eyes brimming with tears. "Mr. Carter was worried about Ms. Carter going out alone while she's pregnant. He sent me to find her…!"

For Paige, everything seemed to be happening so fast. Just this morning, she was being called a thief and kicked out of her house. And now, she was going to be performing on a show tonight. She pinched herself to be sure she wasn't dreaming, and Jessica, who was staring at her, smiled, "Come on, let's go change your wardrobe." I quickly offered coming out from where I had been watching from. "It's about time you showed up" Karla murmured rolling her eyes at me but she still let me help with Paige. "I'm sorry, I had a very important call to attend to" I quickly said following Paige's earlier lie, might as well side her. Paige had been acting strange ever since yesterday, she spent more time typing on her phone and at night, I heard her giggling and whispering to someone, I had a hunch about what she hiding but I needed to confirm it myself.
