His hair was a ghostly white, they were full and framed his face, stopping just above his shoulders. “Anyways, I need the book” “I’m sure you have the wrong book.” “No I don’t”, Raisel replied, “I got directions to the book from the librarian" “You know what this is about right?”, he asked. “Of course I do, do you?”, she questioned. “Yes”

I search for him on every aisle until I found him also sitting down on the floor while no reading a book on his hand. I excitedly run towards him and sat next to him. “You wear glasses?” I asked when I saw him wearing one all of a sudden. He chuckle and nod his head. “Whenever I read,” he said before looking down at the book that I am holding. “What is that?”

Is that why Teddy is doing this? As much as the witch’s words slice through me, I can’t seem to believe them as I’m strapped here to the altar with them all chanting around me. Both the witch and Teddy have evil I their eyes. Are my eyes the same? “I need you to wear these glasses, bud.” Dad smiles at me, handing them back to me after I had thrown them on the floor. I look at the glasses, then at him. Dad has his own glasses on. I can see my reflection in them. My silver eyes swirling like Liquid Metal. Like smoke that can’t be contained.

“Girdle your tongue” Drawing his claws he rushed to me. “Or what?” He asked in a menacing tone as he bared his teeth. I laughed at his face and he growled in response. He had no idea what he was doing. “Veni” A soft, eerie glow began to materialize before me. The light took the shape of a delicate, ornate glass vial, adorned with intricate, swirling patterns that seemed to shift and dance in the dim light. The vial was surrounded by a whispery, ethereal mist that appeared to be alive, swirling and eddying around the glass as if it were being drawn to the container.

I look up into the milky white eyes of my best friend and say one word. “Dragon’s!” **Authors note** I hope you have enjoyed Book 2, the next book, will follow on from this from Monday the 15th of Dec. I grabbed the glass case before he could walk past me. “I can't let you leave with this!” I groaned, the pain in my elbow was killing me. “Don't make me hurt you again,” He snarled and his eyes glowed red. My heart thundered in my chest. I yanked the glass from him, but his claws punctured the glass as he tried to grip it more firmly. “No!” He growled, then shifted almost immediately. He bolted out of the library leaving the glass as it crumbled in my hand.

The book lay open between them, the aged pages worn and delicate, the ink faded but still legible. The illustration stared back at them—two wolves beneath an eclipsed moon, one black, one white. Tangled together. Bound. Selene traced the image with her fingertips, her pulse thrumming in her ears. “The Wolves of the Eclipse,” she murmured, repeating the words as if saying them aloud would somehow bring more clarity. Theoden leaned in beside her, his piercing blue eyes fixed on the text. “What does it say?”

If I'm not there, maybe they'll be safe and maybe Dante will not come after them and maybe I can stop them from getting hurt. I threw the frame hard on the floor and broke it into pieces. I took the photo away and kept it on the night stand before taking a glass piece into my palm. Just then, the room door opened and Nicky came into the room. I don't want to see them. I don't want to see him. I don't want them. I don't. I don't. I hid the glass piece in my palms and held them behind me. "Iris, listen, we just want you to be safe. We can't take it if we lost you" he said taking slow steps towards me. He looked down at the floor and the broken pieces of glass on the floor and then at my face.

He was the youngest in the class while I was the oldest with gaps ahead; I disliked him especially since he wouldn’t stop following me around. “Can you read this?” Leslie asked as he placed a book in front of me as I stared at him. “Are you mocking me?” I asked and Leslie shook his head. “Just read.” Leslie replied before I picked up the book. I struggled with the words before Leslie whistled and placed a pair of glasses on my face when I looked up and everything suddenly felt clearer. “Read again.” Leslie replied and I looked down. It was difficult but it wasn’t as difficult without the glasses before I heard clapping from Leslie.

" Hmm? The Giant Turtle and Terror Hound were stunned. They had complicated gazes on their faces. "Dude!" Finally, the Terror Hound snapped back to his senses. His six eyes locked onto Darryl. The Terror Hound said flatly, "You might seem dumb, but you're no idiot. You want us to fight each other so that you can take the chance to escape, right?" Its six eyes continued to size Darryl up as if they could see through him. The Giant Turtle chimed in, "I've underestimated you. So, you want to sit from afar to watch us fight? Do you think I'm that stupid after living for close to ten thousand years?"
