Unique Lily Novels & Stories

Marcus snapped out of his daze at the sound of Lily’s voice. He blinked a few times, his gaze landing on her. She looked so much like Lilian that sometimes, it made his heart skip. The resemblance wasn’t perfect, though; there were differences that only someone as familiar with Lilian as he was could notice. The slight curve of their noses, the subtle distinction in the color of their eyes, the way their expressions shifted—Lily’s smile never carried the same warmth that Lilian’s did.

She lifted her gown and hurried after him as she was filled with a child-like enthusiasm. Finally, they stopped in front of a different place. It eaf filled with lilies growing tall. They were all red. A sheer red that was brighter than the rest of the leaves. Lillith walked to one of the lilies and plucked before comparing it with the leaf in her hand. The lily had a glitter to it. She turned it under the light of the sunset and she caught several tiny glitters that shone around it. She looked up to see Leon staring at her. "Is this magic? Can you tell me about this?"

he asked, his rich voice laced with curiosity. Lily's hand closed around a small, ornate jar. "This," she said, a hint of triumph in her tone. She held it up, revealing a pearlescent balm that seemed to shimmer in the dim light of the workshop. "It's an old family recipe. Might just do the trick." She unscrewed the lid, releasing a subtle scent of moonflowers and night-blooming jasmine. Lily dipped her fingers into the cool, silky substance and began applying it to her skin with practiced movements.

“I appreciate it.” “Should I send someone to come and take them so that here can be tidy?” Lily asked. I quickly rejected the idea, not wanting to disturb the divine remnants. “They look different. I have never seen this kind of petals and flowers before,” she said, touching one of them gently. That was true. One bunch was filled with various colors, and they seemed to shimmer as if they held their own light. “Did you just see that? It just glowed. Am I seeing things?” she said, pointing towards the flowers in the corner, her voice tinged with disbelief and excitement.

Anaztasia declared as she calmly drank a glass of punch. “If a lily can negate a black rose, then we can use the lily as a shield then. Am I right, Romaine?” Hemera asked, her firm gaze looking straight at Romaine. “You are right. But—“ “But what?” “That is the last lily here in Shamrock. We were lucky that Thalia had kept a single one of that flower…” Romaine responded sorrowfully. “That flower that we just drank is not just an ordinary lily of the valley. It is one of the Mighty Five.”

After a day of trying on elegant gowns and shoes, giggling and gushing over each other like old times. Lily and I look at the guys and they look so bored I actually felt a little sorry for them. During our first set of dresses I noticed that Lily was sporting my brothers’ mark. It was something actually very beautiful it was a crescent moon with 5 stars around it. “The stars are the number of pup’s we are supposed to have.” Lily said with a twinkle in her eye.

This is a very personal affair for both him and for me and every detail has to be perfect. I hear Lilly say goodbye to James and then she makes her way to the conference room to clean up. Not that there is that much to do but to collect the documents, coffee mugs and the napkin James used as he ate Lilly’s homemade cookies. But I know that she always puts in that little extra, making sure that every chair is in its designated spot, removing the flowers to put them on Barbara's desk for her to take home for the weekend. “It is a waste to throw them away!” was her words when she asked if it was alright to do so. Barbara seems to appreciate the gesture.

MICHELLE’s POV. My mouth hangs open in awe as Enzo opens the car door for me. The mansion in front of me looks like something out of a fairytale. Every detail, every extravagance is unique and I can not help but marvel at it. The Middlemist Red Camellia gracing his front lawn catches my attention and I can not help but be wowed. This flower is one of the rarest flowers and Enzo has it in abundance and not to mention the beautiful mansion that looks like a chapel. The one who designed this house must have spent years coming up with the best design.

He said and the surprise people quickly said, " please, can we take a picture with her alone holding the bouquet." Tiana sat down on the bed with the bouquet of money on her lap and the gifts next to her with a cake Doyin baked last night next to it. "Big 24!" Aishat said recording every second of it. She smiled so widely looking around the room seeing all the gifts, decoration. James noticed she even had a small dimple, he grinned recording her as she started opening her gifts. "The Chanel Bag is from us. Original not made in China o." Doyin said referring to her and Rose.

"And there was a flower petal caught in his hair." "A flower petal?" "A white lily with purple edges. I recognized it immediately." She met my eyes. "That species only grows in one area. The wetlands near the northern border of the territory. It's isolated, difficult to access. The perfect place to hide someone you don't want found." My heart began to race. A location. Finally, an actual location. "You're sure?" "I'm sure." Lydia's voice hardened. "But you need to hurry. Kade is becoming impatient. He's been talking about mating with Sera, about breaking her bond with you through the old rituals."
