The Unwanted

The Unwanted

The date of the wedding wasn't there but seeing their names made me shiver. I can’t determine what reaction will I have to the this sight. Will I be happy, surprised or sad? Two of my friends are getting married. We had no idea what was going on. This card is what Zaine is referring to. This is what Aunt Zandra gave him. I don't want to believe that this is happening. Maybe this is just a prank? Or something related to that than can made me believe that this thing is not true? Or do I need to have another proof just to believe in it.

Marked by the wrong mate.

Marked by the wrong mate.

A few times, I thought I heard something—movement, maybe even her breath—but it was always just wind. By the time the sky began to pale with morning, my heart was thudding in panic. The cursed hunters moved best at night, but if dawn broke and she was still missing... Then we saw them. Bodies. Four of them. Cloaked figures, twisted and broken on the forest floor. The stench of black blood burned my nose. I dropped to a crouch, studying their faces—or what was left of them. Claw marks, deep and ragged. “Maya,” I breathed.

The Unexpected

The Unexpected

I asked happily "I'm sorry honey bee, my mom asked me to run some errands for her and I don't know when am gonna finish" she said sounding down over the line. "That's ok I'll just tag along then see ya" I said and hang up. I've been trying to reached Alex all morning but his phone went straight to voicemail so I decided to stopby before going to the mall. I tried calling him again on my way over so he could expect me coming but still voicemail.

"You cannot parallel park." "I have a driver in New York. It never came up." "You run a fourteen billion dollar company and you cannot parallel park." "Correct." Something moved in his expression the thing that lived just before a smile. "Your turn." She looked at him. "I name the plants in my apartment." "All of them?" "There are four. Gerald, Stephanie, Patricia and New One." She paused. "New One arrived in September and hasn't done anything notable enough to earn a proper name yet."

UNCHARTED PATH

UNCHARTED PATH

“And?” “It’s a registered number,” Dan said. “Mac Hunter.” Alex’s eyes narrowed slightly. “That’s it?” “That’s it, boss,” Dan confirmed. “No address, no linked accounts, and no digital footprint that is worth anything. It’s like the name exists but the person doesn’t.” A cold silence settled on Alex’s end. “What about location?” he asked. “That’s where it gets weird,” Dan continued. “The number doesn’t stay active long enough to trace. No fixed signal and no pattern. It only pings a location when it’s being used and even then, it disappears before we can lock it down.”

The Unwanted Mate

The Unwanted Mate

how nauseating my presence must be to have my mates turn on me at first instance. Anyone will call me lucky for finding a second mate just months after being rejected by my first. they wouldn’t know that I have been turned away by the second one and he didn’t even bother to reject me because he considers it too troubling. Its as if the entire universe is against me and the goddess is having a filled time seeing me become an element of ridicule. No one wants me. as it stands, I might be spending the rest of my life alone.

Unless. The person wasn't in the cabin when I discovered it. The scent that must have lingered on must have belonged to the man and must have remained in the air because it hadn't been that long since that person left. I face-palmed myself as I realized that I had unwillingly destroyed something that could have been my weapon. And all because of what? Because I became suspicious of people who stood by me and helped me make the pack into what it was.

Unrequited

“That sounds like a crisis.” “Probably is.” My phone buzzed against the bar — a text. I didn’t even have to check the name to know who it was. Elian. Where the hell are you? Short. Too normal for what’s been spinning in my head. I stared at the message for a long moment before locking the screen again. Max leaned over, trying to peek. “Who’s that?” “No one.” He smirked. “The kind of ‘no one’ that makes you look like you just remembered a crime?”

She tried another website—one of those reverse phone lookup services that usually dug up embarrassing details about people’s addresses and relatives. The loading symbol spun for a few seconds. Then the page refreshed. No match found. Arielle frowned harder now. She tried a third website. Then a fourth. Still nothing. The silence of the apartment suddenly felt heavier. Her fingers hovered above the keyboard. “Who are you?” she whispered again. As if the universe had been waiting for that exact moment, her phone vibrated against the coffee table. The sound made her jump. Her heart slammed painfully against her ribs. Slowly—very slowly—she picked up the phone.

The Unwanted Matrimonial

The Unwanted Matrimonial

When I turned one last time to look at our surroundings, a tiny clothing caught my eye and I started walking towards it. “Layla”, Damon followed close behind me. “You said one last thing” “Shh”, I placed my index finger on his lips. “Look at this”, I pointed at it through the window and his eyes softened. It was a grey dotted in black cute little onesie with white italiced writing that read, The Most Eligible Bachelor. “Isn't it cute?” “It is but don't you think we've bought him enough onesies already?” “A baby can never have enough onesies and besides, this one is cute”

Beautiful story. Really enjoying this one. The banter of lead is worth reading. It is kind of my liking. Have been surfing something like this only. No drama. No over acting. No werewolf mainly.... Everything is superb.

This is a great book to read. There are minor errors and sometimes the transitions to different scenes is not smooth, but the book is worth reading. Sometimes I wasn’t happy with the FL choices, but I know that is how some people behave in real life. Love how things worked out for the characters.
