When removed she will become as strong and blood thirsty , one thousand vampires together. As long as she is wearing it , her powers will be subdued and she will be just like a human."she said . "Okay, I will check. If she is, that means her being my mate is okay." I asked.

“Now, I regret that the vampire hadn’t been around when the Queen arrived. I would have loved to watch her kill him as slowly and painfully as possible.” Maria’s stomach roiled at the thought of the vampire being killed. For reasons she couldn’t possibly understand, the though hurt her even more than the thought of being locked up in here for another day. “How did you convince such a powerful creature to help you?” She wondered out loud, still amazed by that. He took one menacing step forward and although the gate was between them, fear coursed through her heart and she took another step back, almost summersaulting onto the bench. “You forget that I am an equally powerful creature?”

Gabrielle scoffed, folding her arms, giving both Lillian and Liam a hard glare, "you didn't tell me that." Liam closed his eyes breathing out, trying to stop himself from computing, "the things that attacked us were vampires. They are the ones that took Kaya, and bit Anna," Liam explained. Gabrielle glanced over at the other tree, remembering the woman that had been healing Kaya. As angry as she was, she felt a slight bit of concern, "will she turn into a- I can't believe I'm saying this-but will she turn into a vampire?" "Goodness no," Maria began with a short chuckle, shaking her head, "I mean she could, but the mother witch is here, she will be alright," She replied with a slight giggle.

I want to bury myself in his arms and hide away from this cruel world and my cruel fate. There’s a knock on the door, and I open my eyes to see a young woman peeking in. “Harry called me.” “Thanks, Maria.” Robert is about to get up, but my fingers dig into his sleeve. It’s an automatic response, but instead of saying anything, he simply moves closer and wraps his hand around mine. “I’m not going anywhere.” He looks up at Maria. “Can you heal her?” Maria comes forward, but there is hesitation in her steps. “She’s a vampire.”

she said, then stepped back again. “That won’t be a problem,” Maria said. She closed her eyes and loosened her fist, letting out a sigh. Her teeth slowly elongated into fangs, and her finger nails grew into claws. Her hair elongated, changing from its black color into a very dark shade of purple, and she opened her eyes, revealing its bright purple color.

"Just like you did. Except, it didn't involve all the annoying bits with mate bonds and the like." Aria's calm facade faltered, but she still kept silent, allowing me to finish. "Long story short, I accepted and our love was almost right out of a fairy tale... Until Nikolaus devised a plan to lure out the rogue vampires involving Maria. You see, newly turned vampires tend to find the blood of humans with a subtle trace of witch blood enticing." I paused, my heart clenching. "We eventually succeeded in fishing out the rogue vampires, but Maria was badly injured, so I desperately turned her without her consent to save her life instead of taking her to her aunt for healing. But... But she–"

Wanting to reassure the brunette, Luna opened her mouth to say a few words of comfort when a second voice filled with urgency yelled out to Maria. "Maria! Move away from there now!" Akihito's relaxed posture from before vanished, frightful eyes fixated on Maria. Who cluelessly tipped her head to the side when she noticed a large shadow fell over her. Maria craned her head back, emerald eyes transforming into saucers when she saw the robust build of a creature. Its arms and legs were thick with muscles and covered in shabby armor, but it had the face of a pig. 'An orc?!' Maria was caught off guard by the creature sudden appearance.

" Her hand went to touch the side of her forehead as she closed her eyes dizzily. Ginny stared at her, mouth dropping. That is Maria Nixon. She thought and dumbfoundedly ran her eyes up and down her figure. As one of Damien's lovers, she was aware of Maria. She had met her several times in the past but never assumed she would encounter her like this, in the Alpha's mansion. In the same room as his mate. It was kind of awkward. Two ex-lovers in the same room as the Alpha's mate. "Oh dear, you don't look good." Madam Martha reduced the awkward heaviness in the air. She politely walked to Maria and checked her forehead. My cheeks heated up as I stared down at my plate, feeling so mortified. "Oh. It was nothing important, nothing that can’t wait." She said with a small smile. "Well, since that’s not important, there’s something I want to share with you all." Papa Raf said, looking at us all, although his focus was on Maria. "Oh?" Maria asked, raising an eyebrow as she ate gracefully. Rayhan’s hand stopped tracing circles, resting his hand on my thigh, his fingers dangerously close to my core. "Despite us being wolves… Maria, you know my mother was a hybrid, and I am to some extent immune to certain things, which I actually realise is quite common in males from witch blood-lines."

“I was the one who gave her the diary for helping a wingless old pixie.” “Well, Marylin passed many years ago, and this isn’t Marylin but a reincarnation of her.” Joana walked towards where Mariana stood on a rock and gave her a little hello with her pointy finger. “Hello,” Mariana said to her before turning back to Dana. “But I don’t understand, I thought she was a vampire, how can she die when she’s an immortal?”
