She turned the pages until she came to the first chapter, which was titled 'What is a vampire? 'Vampires are immortal blood-sucking demons. Well, not demons but they are actually just like us. They are humans too. They are also sentient beings.' 'Only their fangs distinguish them from humans; they can fly; they feed on blood and more specifically, they require fresh human blood to survive, which is referred to as bloodlust; and a positive point is they never die; they are extremely faster than humans; they can see even in complete darkness; after all they are a creature of the night.'

Which really made a difference. I was very interested in the section that told about when their species first began to domesticate themselves and try to hide amongst humans regardless of the fact that the humans knew of their existence. Apparently, they were clever enough to make up their own way of distinguishing Vampires from Humans, all of which were misleading enough to work in their favor. My brows drew together as I read the lists of things humans used to think would draw away vampires, or what they believed vampires were weak to. "Vampires used to tell humans that garlic repelled them?" I asked, trying to look for more of an explanation than this book was giving me.

She watched him intently reading her schedule. “Go back to your classes. I'll see you later mate," he said and gave her the schedule back. He disappeared into the thin air leaving Cassandra all by himself. “That fvcker,” she cursed under her breath and stomped her feet. She breathed deeply and looked at the ceiling, realizing something. Her mate is no other than Sebastian Alistair Blood and worst of all he is the vampire prince. Cassandra doesn’t know if it’s possible to be mates with a vampire. Cassandra was lost in her thoughts. She heaved a sigh and left the room. She went back to her classes as the break was finally over.
