Veins In Neck Visible Novels & Stories

It was strange though, I wasn't in any pain, so then why was I crying? Larry's head turned to the side glancing over his shoulder, cursing beneath his breath. For some reason, my eyes settled on his neck as my hands wrapped around his shoulders. Veins Blue veins, teeming with spark and vitality ran from the underside of his chin to where his shirt shielded his shoulder. I gasped, panicking as I blinked my eyes. Willing the sight away. It wasn't real, that wasn't real. What the hell did I just see?!

The gold is more prominent this time. His hand moves from my sleeve toward my neck. I don’t flinch. I know it’s pointless. It does not help to fight this. This is it. He’s going to end it. His hand brushes against my neck, his fingers grazing my skin. Before I go to close my eyes with finality, I see the veins in his arm. It is black. I frown. I'm not in pain, so why is his veins black? What is he feeling? He pulls back as though my skin burned him, his eyes widening. He looks at me with disbelief. His grip loosens and I can see the pain in his face.

He would really like to snap her neck right now. His veins were dilating and bulging on the back of his hands, almost as though he was trying hard to suppress himself.

Lior's right hand moves to the left forearm, pressing against it, and the motion exposes the inside of the wrist for a moment before being covered again. But a moment is enough. The veins beneath the skin have darkened. Not the deep bruised color of normal vampire circulation. Something darker than that. Something that runs in thin branching lines up toward the elbow the way frost patterns run across glass, black at the center and fading to dark gray at the edges, spreading even as Lucian watches in the second before Lior covers the arm again. Lior looks up. Meets Lucian's eyes with the gold gaze that has never looked uncertain until this moment.

Her nose had stopped bleeding, but the liquid had dried around her lips, creating a red crust that contrasted with the paleness of her skin. I took her pulse in the neck; it was slow, weak, a muffled pulsation that betrayed the state of lethargy induced by the silver medication. “You are not going to leave, Ivy... I won't allow it” I hissed between my teeth, the adrenaline being the only thing keeping me conscious while the hemorrhage from my neck continued staining the car.

Kai turned to me. I couldn't say a word, tears slipping down my cheeks instead. Natasha thankfully took a hint and dashed back towards the room, with Kai tailing her. Zeke was groaning against the headboard by the time we returned. His gray eyes were almost lifeless, and his pale skin was even paler than before. But there was something more different. I gasped as I spotted the dark veins running down his neck towards his chest. “Is that supposed to be normal?” Kai muttered beside me.

I stepped up to the mirror, turning on the cold water faucet to splash some water onto my face. I lifted my head, looking at my reflection in the glass. My breathing completely stopped. There, sitting right on the left side of my neck, was a dark, purple-red hickey.

"You talk like you know what that feels like." Stan slowly walked over and sat down on the far end of the couch. The cushion dipped heavily under his weight. Up close, under the sharp light of her desk lamp, Vivian could see the dark circles etched beneath his eyes, the faint white scars running along his collarbone, and something else—something that made her pulse stutter. The veins along his neck were pulsing with a strange, faint violet light. It flared under his skin, rhythmic and unnatural, like a dying star trapped inside his veins.

Marcus held her tight, his heart pounding as he took a closer look at her neck. “What the fuck is that?” He muttered, his eyes locked on the mark. Alaric turned as well, the air in the car going deathly still as both alphas studied the wound on her neck. Even the driver was not left out and glanced at his alpha through the rearview mirror, seeing his face filled with worry… The wound on Dana’s neck was closing up… but something was very wrong. Under her skin there were dark veins spreading from the bite mark like vines, going up her neck and around her shoulder, visibly pulsating as if they were alive….

Now, is he also a vampire? I immediately stood up and stomped over the full-length mirror on the side of his room to look at my neck. I shrieked in shock when I saw a lot of kiss marks on both sides of my neck, on my throat and even on my jaw. I saw some red marks on my navel and even on my inner thighs.
