Veronica Lancet Books Novels & Stories

If there was any record of Fabian’s connection to Veronica, it would be somewhere in these ancient scrolls and manuscripts. As I reached the grand doors of the library, I pushed them open quietly, the scent of old parchment and ink filling the air. I needed to be quick. If Veronica had any spies within the castle, they’d be watching me, and I couldn’t risk being caught. I lit a small lantern and made my way through the dusty aisles of books, the flickering light casting long shadows across the stone walls. My heart pounded as I approached the back of the library, where the kingdom’s most guarded records were kept. There had to be something here—some piece of the puzzle that would bring Veron

LJ started, his hands gripped her waist and blue-black ichor, the color of demon blood, dripped from it. "I told you not to call me that." she gritted her teeth. "Your name's too long, and you're one to talk, calling me a drink every chance you get." LJ said, grinning ruefully, "Here, let me take care of that." "No, it's fine. I'll heal soon enough." Veronica said, "Those blasted leviathans, I will have their heads once I find their horde. And those succubi...Asmodeus' legion. I will have them--"

A series of encrypted messages between Veronica and Lena. The images of Lena’s betrayal still stung, but the sight of Veronica’s smug face staring back at me didn’t surprise me in the slightest. That woman had always been a viper, coiled and ready to strike. But one thing didn’t add up. “What kind of connection do Veronica and Lena even have?” I muttered, more to myself than to them. Grace crossed her arms. “Distant relatives. Lena is Veronica’s niece.” Ryan let out a sharp curse, kicking the coffee table in frustration. “Those two-faced witches. They’ve been playing us from the start!”

It’s time to choose, will you run off in the sunset with Tom or will you return to my side. Then the door opens, it is Tom. Tom ~”Veronica.” Veronica ~”Tom” Tom ~”I assume you read Flare and You?” Veronica ~”Yes, I will find out who did this.” Tom ~”I don't care.” Veronica ~”It does not upset you?” Tom ~”No.” Veronica ~”Tom we need to talk.”

Veronica’s eyes opened slowly. The room was dark, lit only by faint moonlight slipping through the window. For a moment, she didn’t move. Then she heard it again. Movement. She turned her head slightly. Christiana’s bed was empty. Veronica’s heart skipped. Slowly, she lifted herself just enough to look around. The door to the dormitory was slightly open. A shadow slipped through it. Christiana. Veronica’s breath became shallow. She’s going again… Without thinking too much, Veronica quietly got out of bed.

I say. These mates of mine have saved me, have given me a life that I didn’t even know I wanted, and now they’ve given me a family. Our family. I pull Aeron’s arms a little tighter and slowly drift off with a smile on my face. THE END ******** This is the end of the first book in this series. The second book is called the Lycan Inheritance, and the first few chapters are up now. This book follows Adriel, all grown up and now the Lycan King. Rosalie, Aeron, and Cain are still in this book so you’ll see more about how their relationship has grown and developed.

Detective Yolanda Hamilton was in an elated mood tonight. The most anticipated victory of the past month had just been secured and now, she was just one step closer to becoming a lieutenant. Could there be any better news than this? Her eyes began to feel dizzy as she drowned another shot of the whiskey in her throat. It caused a burning sensation as it made its way into her stomach, and then the lingering feeling of satisfaction followed. She belched out in another moment and a satisfied grin crossed her face. From her vision which was now beginning to dull, she could make out the faces of three of her colleagues who had joined her in her drinking spree.

Veronica said covering her ears. “This is our proof Queen Veronica. This is a letter I stole from Defon. It is stated there all his plans and that he asks for a paralyzing potion to use to Queen Demonica. Please... please listen to us this once and not always to your silly whims.” The elder maid said handing Veronica a rolled letter that Veronica reads just to throw it on the wall and cry so hard. Veronica just shakes her head and keeps saying that they are lying. That night almost all the maids and servant of the palace leaved her alone without saying goodbye to her. Veronica is now all alone in the palace with her new stranger servants who she cannot trust.

While grimacing in pain, she tried to get up from her sitting position. But panic continued to rise. Once she was able to stand, Luna noticed a stream of blood flowing heavily, soaking Veronica's feet. Screaming for help, Luna asked for assistance and then rushed Veronica into a car, taking her to the hospital before it was too late.
