Ia juga dipertemukan kembali dengan Candrakanti, gadis yang pernah sangat dicintainya namun karena dendam yang mendalam atas kematian keluarganya, Jentra berusaha melupakan gadis itu. Namun ternyata ia tidak bisa menghapus gadis itu dari setiap perjalanan hidupnya yang rumit. Perseteruan untuk memperebutkan mustika itu juga menempatkan dirinya dan Candrakanti di dalam posisi yang saling bermusuhan, karena Candrakanti mendapatkan tugas khusus dari Maharaja sendiri.
