I hugged her really tightly to deepen the kiss. "Okay.. it's time to cut the cake." Blake ruined the moment again. I swear he always does that. "Let's cut the cake." "I'm so happy for you, Violet Ashloc-" I glared at Rose and she laughed. "Oops.. I forgot that she's married to a baboon like you." Rose smirked and I hissed at her. "Thankyou Rose." Violet hugged Rose. "Violet Portwalt now." I whispered to her ear and kissed her cheek.

a guard captain screamed before a silver blade knocked him flat onto his back. Chaos erupted everywhere, but I didn't care about the perimeter wall or the burning supply trucks parked along the fence. I pushed through the thick smoke, coughing violently as the cold air burned my throat and lungs. , the thick grey smoke cleared out right in the middle of the main courtyard ring. A tall figure stepped out through the clearing fog, leading five Silver-Moon warriors with confidence. My whole world came to a violent halt the second my eyes locked onto her face. It was Violet.

Violetta pauses. “With all due respect ma’am, I don’t intend to hurt Nova and if you are thinking of telling me their sex I already have my suspicions and I do not care what sex they are. I am immensely attracted to them, but even more so in love with them.” I sigh then under my breath “Cade and Gina are right I just needed to admit it to myself.” “Good! Because Nova doesn’t deserve the hate that they sometimes receive least of all from someone who should be showing them affection!” She pins me with her eyes and I feel like there is more to this that she is not about to tell me.

It was a pathetic and undeniable craven existence but it was how they were winning the war. Dave let out a sigh. "No. He used a HG blade." I nodded. A brilliant man named Henry Gomez spent his life developing a UV spiked, but essentially silver based liquid that could be applied to any metallic object, leaving a coat of active poison that would kill both shade and host upon entering the their shared body. Something in perfectly balanced formula temporarily imprisoned the shade and as long as the wounds you inflicted on the human were mortal, the shade shared the same fate. The HG liquid had become as precious to us as light bulbs. It was hard to come by at the best of times, especially out h

Never had it been like this, like a tidal wave that swept me away, pouring into my mouth and filling my lungs with its salty sting no matter how many times I wretched and coughed, trying my damnedest to expel it. Blaze swung clumsily, but his movements were spurred on by adrenaline and shock. His fists deflected off Violet, propelled by what waning strength he had left. Violet, on the other hand, seemed like she was only getting started. She pulled the knife from his eye again, leaving me speechless as she plunged it back in. Again and again her rage revealed itself until finally, Blaze stumbled and dropped to the ground. As his skull bounced off the concrete with a resounding crack a violen

He laughs again. I find myself relaxing slightly. Maybe this is good. Maybe talking to someone who isn’t one of the three heirs currently destroying my sanity is exactly what I need. Caelan steps closer. Not enough to make me uncomfortable. Not yet. “You know, your eyes really are that color.” I blink. “What?” “Violet.” I shift awkwardly. “Last time I checked.” His gaze lingers. “They’re beautiful.” Heat touches my cheeks. “Thanks.” His eyes drop briefly toward my mouth.

Someone sang off-key near the barrels. I wove through the crowd, looking for Harrison. Instead, I caught scraps of conversation from a group of warriors. "—took down three rogues before the rest of us even shifted." "The new strongest female warrior. I'm telling you, she's something else." I slowed my steps. The strongest female warrior had always been Valeria — Alpha of the Crimson Fang Pack. They called her The Selene-Blade. People said the Moon Goddess herself had blessed her, and she fought in a terrifying mask — all you could see were her red eyes, glowing. No one had ever beaten her.

the warrior asked me again. Without further ado, I knew that I had to give an answer. "If you promise that my maid, Ophelia, my assistant, Andreas, and the people who supported me are safe and sound, I’ll marry you." For a while, the Crimson Warrior was looking at me with his emerald green eyes. "It's a deal then," he responded. ***

I shout to Neil, who is also shifting, "I may be an Omega, but I'll show you that smokers and drunks like you are trash!" Zane's POV Violet's clothes crack inch by inch and she shifts into a purple-furred wolf. As an omega, she isn't small. Her size is like a normal werewolf and even looks more powerful. Her purple fur shines silvery in the sunlight, carrying a sense of sacredness and looking very beautiful. ‘Just let me take over and I can take these guys out pretty easily.’ Ziv yells. Neil is lunging at Violet but is slapped to the ground with her paw. Violet bites down hard on the bridge of Neil's nose, and red blood roams out of his wound.
