Kelsea. I chased the Violin with a little running, although only running slowly because the snow conditions were slippery. It's not funny if I fall, and it's embarrassing here. "Violin." I shouted in the dark. Only accompanied by colorful lights. The Violin runs fast. I chased her even more. And shouted back, like an idiot. The Violin turned around. Was she crying? I hugged myself because the snowflakes were falling. I chased her. Violin is waiting for me.

said Violin. "Violin, you are an asshole!" cursed Luke. He wanted to swallow her alive. "Hah, when you're helpless, you still have a big mouth. Bam!" Violin has a devil's heart; she kicks Luke's chair until he falls to the floor; without sin and compassion, Violin leaves him. Argh... Luke shouted in annoyance; he was so helpless at the moment. Without feeling, he was crying. Their company would be fine now if he weren't afraid of being in jail.

He would rebuild, starting with Viola. Viola sat in the center of a stark, high-ceilinged room. Viola cursed her luck. Of all the people to capture her, it turned to be Nathaniel Blake, her worst nightmare. The door had barely closed behind her when she realized there was no escape. She had anticipated confrontation, even anger, but nothing had prepared her for this. The walls seemed to press in, and the faint hum of the compound’s machinery made her feel like prey inside a cage. Her robe, once a symbol of elegance, now felt like a costume mocking her failure.

SERA The violin was on my lap like a broken bird. I sat on the edge of the bed in my room, just staring at it. The neck was snapped clean in half, angled at an impossible angle. The body had three deep cracks running through the wood, and the strings hung loose like lifeless veins. One of the tuning pegs had splintered completely. I couldn't bring myself to put it down. My fingers traced the damage slowly, feeling each crack and break like they were scars on my own skin. There was something about holding this destroyed thing that made sense right now. Like the violin understood what I couldn't put into words.

I said, “That is my violin; the one I had back home.” “What are you talking about?” she asked, “Maybe they just look alike.” “No,” I said as I picked it up and took it to her. I turned it to the back and showed her the spot where I had etched a C into the violin and painted flowers around it. “I did that on my 17th birthday,” I said, “It’s my violin.” Her eyes widened in shock and she let the violin fall from her hands. “How did it get here?” she asked and I knew her confused and horrified expression mirrored mine. “Is there like a note or something?”

I stood frozen, my gaze fixed on the lonely, broken violin on the floor. It was the last thing my mother had left me. I bit my lip so hard I tasted blood. I wanted to scream, to run and pick up my violin. But I didn't dare. The look in Rocco’s eyes told me that if I upset Vivienne, I would pay a price I couldn't afford. "What a piece of junk," Vivienne whined, leaning into Rocco's arms. "The strings are so rough. Rocco, this piece of junk is all trash from the gutter like her deserves. Take me to Vienna to buy a new one next time."

The sound of the violin echoed throughout the whole venue. Anna played the music piece Caprice 24 by Niccolò Paganini which was said to be the hardest violin piece ever. I have been locked up and starved because of this music piece several times in the past. I could barely play the first verse while Anna mastered it quickly. She become more splendid in playing this piece as time passed. As the string of the violin get intense, memories of my unfortunate childhood resurfaced in my mind.

It’s as if the person standing in front of us isn’t Hope but a completely different person. She raised the violin up over her head and screamed as she hurled it on the floor. She threw it with so much force it broke into pieces upon impact. A 16 million dollar violin all gone in that instant. But I’d give her all the violins in the world to break if that would make her feel even a bit better.
