A Queen Among Blood

A Queen Among Blood

*Book 3* Yildiz was created by the Goddess Zarseti for one purpose: to uphold truth and justice in the supernatural world. Unlike her sisters, Yildiz came into being blind, but she sees beyond what others can. For tens of thousands of years, she and her sisters continued their duties as the Delegation, but life just got more interesting for Yildiz. She learns her creator blessed her, of all people, with a soulmate – an unwilling soulmate at that. Darkness surrounds this mystery man, but he is far more than he seems. Yildiz finds herself pushed away at every turn, but she's never been known to give up her pursuits. Will she capture his heart and unravel his secrets? Or will she be consumed by the darkness and left heartbroken? *Excerpt* "Is this the part where you say you'd die for me?" "Death is easy. It's brief and over in an instant, but living? Living is hard and living for eternity is even harder. So no, I won't die for you… I'd live for you." A Queen Among Blood is the third book in the Queen Among series. Each story is set up in the previous book, so reading the books in order is recommended. Here are the books in the series: A Queen Among Alphas - Book 1 Bite-Size Luna - A Queen Among Alphas Prequel A Queen Among Snakes - Book 2 Runaway Empress - A Queen Among Snakes Prequel A Queen Among Blood - Book 3 Whole Again - A Queen Among Alpha's spin-off A Queen Among Darkness - Book 4 Dark Invocation - A Queen Among Darkness spin-off A Queen Among Tides - Book 5 Valor, Virtue, and Verve - A Queen Among Tides Prequel Spin-off A Queen Among Gods - Book 6 A Queen Among Tempests - Book 7

Another amazing story in the A Queen Among series! The characters are amazing, with such depth. The author has such a well thought out mythology, with very thoughtful and thorough explainations, and really pulls you into her universe. I can't wait to see where this story takes us.

This is by far my favourite series! I laughed, cheered and bawled my eyes out. Each book gets better and better and the way each one is connected to the others blows my mind. I'm already itching to find out what happens with Isolde in the next book!

Her Deceitful Love

Her Deceitful Love

"So many promises, so many dreams. They all broke today," his voice resonated. "Your promise of loving me till the last breath of your life, your dream of becoming my wife and giving birth to my children….they all are shattering today, princesa," tears rolled down from her eyes at his words which made him wrap his arm around her waist. "Ssh …. don't cry. Maybe not love but I do feel sympathy for your tears as I had been living with you for so many days," he uttered while wiping her tears with his knuckles. "Besides, I am not that heartless so let's ease up your heartbreak a bit. Okay?" He uttered. "So not in front of this world but I can please you like a husband pleases his wife behind closed doors and…." He thrusted his face closer to hers. "On my bed…. just like last night where you let me devour every inch of your skin, princesa," She teared up more because that was the truth. She had actually surrendered her everything to him last night. Her heart, her soul, her body…. everything to him with no shield last night. She gave him the virtue of her body but only to let him taint it with his sin which she was believing as his love. Feeling him wrapping his arm more firmly around her waist, she found him untying the knot of her night robe. "So, how about I make you forget about your heartbreak by taking you to my bed?" he rasped in her ear, completely untying her night robe and his next words crushed her soul cruelly. "As I am sure that would be the best way to cure the pain of a prostitute's daughter and her deceitful love,"

Nice storyline! I love all your work, well written and very captivating. I wonder how many more chapters are left for this book? I usually don’t read incomplete books but this one is exceptional. I don’t like stories which are way dragged out with hundreds of chapters.

I finished this book yesterday. I will be honest haha. I had a love hate relationship with the story while I was reading it. Other reviewers said the female lead is a strong one, but it was not the strong that I was expecting. I was expecting Flora to dump Easton because of how he treated her.
